  • So I've been on the forums for a year today. In the (kind of) twelve months I've been here I have seen the forum grow and there really are some lovely people on here and going to a meet was one of the

I think his use of sarcasm is just his way of being nice and thoughtful. I'm used to how Seb responds and he wasn't trying to be mean. I would have preferred Seb to be more sensitive but, I'm grateful that I could even get a response from him. One meaningful, sarcastic response is better than no response. And thank you Lordcutter for being nice, thoughtful and for doing what you did. I'm perfectly fine with all three responses.Benin: To answer what you said, I just feel that I'm 21 and for someone who is 21, I should have done all these things. I think that I've had a really sheltered life which has its perks and downsides and I'm a bit down, due to the fact I've never had a serious relationship; which there is something wrong with.I'm not ugly but I can't help but fantasise about how better off my life would be, if I didn't have this Aspergers. At least I would be able to go out and meet people, socialise and have fun. What you said Benin, is really nice and I appreciate it a lot. =D

Why don't you just get off the forums? Every post from you is full of thoughtless sarcasm, do you think that reply was really needed? What the hell is wrong with you :)

Well... he was right.

I'm not ugly but I can't help but fantasise about how better off my life would be, if I didn't have this Aspergers.

As you know I understand this fully. But try not to think about it too much, it'l just make you feel worse and worse if you continously go over 'what could have been' and how much you hate it. Just try and make the most of what opportunities come your way, enjoy yourself as much as you can and don't worry about other people.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with not having a relationship at 21. You don't have to bow down to the pressures of modern day society and you shouldn't let it get you down. So what if you haven't had a relationship? You're 21, you're still young, you're going to unviersity, you have a plan for the future. Besides what is living anyway? I know you hate your aspergers but at least you try to overcome it. So many people wouldn't You're far stronger then you are giving yourself credit for.

I love you guys loads :)Mark, you nailed it perfectly and being a friend of mine, I'm happy that you know I'm trying and as long as people and friends, know I'm trying; then I'm happy. I think I shouldn't and should try to not worry about the past too much and look to the future, and what it holds. Thanks a lot for your words o' wisdom and I feel a bit better, knowing that things will fall into place...in the end.

I don't think it was bad, just a more to-the-point way of pointing out to Will how such things really don't matter anyway near as much as Will believes they do.

Who is this 'Seb' that you speak of?

Being a mad schizophrenic, I occasionally come out with sarcasm, but it's mostly against the stupid thoughtless and mindless comments people make to my posts that I dose back with.I have been in Wills' situation before, and I was being blunt about how sex really doesn't have to be something you just want to get over and done with. I don't particularly care if you don't like my posts, as that post definitely wasn't sarcasm, it was honest and straight to the point.

Yeah, random I know, but I'd just like to say that that's the one thing I actually admire about you. :) It takes a lot of guts to be honest and straight to the point, and you're one of about 3 people I actually know who's like that. :)Anyways, my rant..Well, it was my prom last night. As said somewhere else, it was a bit of a fail really. The actual 'prom' event of it (so basically, excluded the awards ceremony) was only decent because they had a mini casino there, which was epicly fun. I decided not to go to an after party, as I do not drink any sort of alcohol for personal reasons which I prefer not to go into. All the after parties seemed to involve people just getting wasted for fun, and I didn't really like the idea of being around loads of people being wasted, nor having people try and spike my drinks. So I didn't go to any. Everyone seemed to be getting on my back about it and asked why I weren't going to any and persuading me to go to there's. Even after I said no they do not stop and it's just peed me off. So yeah, just a bit annoyed really.

I'm never taking Nurofen Cold & Flu for a headache again! They basically made me feel really odd and horrible, like I had no emotion or was depressed :D And we were seeing family round my uncle and aunt's house, so yeah, not the best time to feel like that. I know nothing is perfect but it wasn't a case of it didn't go to plan, I really could not enjoy myself, I usually have such a laugh with family but I just couldn't find anything funny. I normally take normal Nurofen but we've somehow managed to misplace them :)

Crap defending, a real shame :DBut like others have said, I'm still proud to be British and proud to live in England, no matter what! And as my brother (major cricket fan) pointed out, we've got a brilliant cricket team yet no one cares about that, or even knows! But cricket is such a British sport! Even though I never cared about it when I was younger, I have memories of the summer, it being on TV, the sound of them hitting the ball, etc etc. It's a shame they don't show it on terrestrial TV anymore, apart from Channel 5 showing highlights. The actual live matches are only available on Sky Sports :DSame goes for Wimbledon, in terms of it being British and it should be appreciated more. That match the other day that went on for 10 hours, then carried on the next day...!!Screw football tbh, it's all about tennis and cricket! :)But I will admit, that was a bloody intense match...until it went downhill!

England's confidence has been destroyed by the goal not being counted :)

Sorry but that's a terrible excuse, if you're a national team you should just get over it and continue playing like normal. Germany are a stronger football team than us anyway so today's result was pretty much what I expected.
comment_94063

^Pah, you'd be suprised how easy confidence can be affected by one wrong decision...Besides, our national 'team' is crap, why is everyone so bloody suprised?

But they aren't crap. One bit. They may have lost one match, drew two and won one but they got to the world cup in the first place when so many countries failed to do so. I don't get the attitude that immediately says as soon as we lose we are a rubbish team. It's almost like people are trying to say germany only won because we were awful. No, they were by far the better team.
