Ellie
Three different pervert teachers have taken a liking to me over the years. The first rubbed my shoulders, dropped pens to look up my skirt and even once escorted me to the toilet. The second called me babe/sweetheart, invited me back to his office in school one evening and offered me lifts home. The third went to all of the same destinations as me on 'activities week' and stared at me throughout a gym session with a... bulge. Being an all girls' school we do attract a lot of pervs.
Sidders
OMMMMG at the first one, that is proper vile mind! We've got a teacher in our school who's a bit weird, everyone suspects he's a closet kiddy toucher. He creeps me out. There's a suspect in every school m'dear... usually decided by the pupils of course -_-On a completely separate rant. OMG WHY WAS THE 'HAVE YOU HAD A **** TODAY?' TOPIC REMOVED!? Who would've thought that would happen. :L
Mer
There's a suspect in every school m'dear... usually decided by the pupils of course My thoughts exactly! I find it amusing but also a bit cruel when the moment someone acts funny they get labelled a paedophile and stuff. It happened when I was at school and it was all bull, the rumours and stuff that went round. Looking back now, as an older and wiser person, I realise that there was hardly anything wrong with the teachers that got talked about, they acted no different to the others, it was only because they were old and male that rumours got started! :(I also think it's just the way this country has ended up, people are too anxious and protective. Isn't there some rule now that teachers can't even pat a student on the back in a friendly, "well done you" manner, or something along those lines? Obviously if they do actually do bad things or evidently do wrong, that's a totally different story and very serious, and yeah they deserve to be fired etc! I just mean that everyone in general these days seems very quick to judge and be protective, kids don't have any freedom because apparently playing outside with friends automatically means something will happen to them! They're being imprisoned because the criminals that SHOULD be in prison aren't!Raaaar rant mode!
Lordcutter6
So, it seems the bladder infection I had is resistant to more than 8 different types of antibiotics (after taking useless antibiotics for the last week). The stupid Doctor who I first saw prescribed some random AB and couldn't care less, then see A&E doctor when passed blood who gave me penicillin. So while I think it's getting better, a few days later I start feeling pains in my back and found out yesterday that the infection has risen up to my kidneys. I've spent the last 2 days in hospital having needles put inside me and medicine pumped into my body. It took the doctor 3 tries to vind the right vein to put the tube in for IV treatment, no painkillers/icespray whatsoever. So much is hell - painkillers arn't working for kidney/arm pain, IV needle came out so had painful process today of having it put back in and a blood test (which included them using the way of *****ing 5 of my fingers to squeeze out blood, then to find that they wouldn't get enough and having to use a needle). Grr, so much to rant about with all this pain. Doctor seeing me tomorrow and if this pain hasn't gone away it turns to further examinations. I've already missed my half of the year's summer camp this week, hoping to go with other half next week but not looking good. The experience has been somewhat, very weirdly "interesting" as I want to be a surgeon one day but my god, would I be sympathetic to my patients after going through I have these last 2 weeks
JoshC.
Wow. I'm getting a regular poster in this topic. I really must enjoy ranting. [/sarcasm]Well, actually, not as much a rant, but still, something I need to get off my chest.Wake up. Nice happy day. Everyone in a happy mood. Etc. Etc.9:30am. My aunt phones. "Hello. Can we borrow your strimmer? *Cousin* needs it to trim her garden before she leaves her rented house or else she won't get her deposit back. Is it okay if we get at about 10?" So, my nan has to panic and try and find it. After rummaging through our 2 sheds, find it. She pops in, says she's gotta run, and leaves. No thanks or when it will be returned.Just after she leaves, uncle phones. One of the uncles who didn't even bother to contact my nan on my granddad's birthday (see recent rant). "Hey. Just to let you know, I could lose my job as the managers have changed." No how are you or consideration. Nothing. So, my nan has a go at him. And he just says he and his civil parent will visit tomorrow or Friday (and none of us - me, my mum and my nan - like his civil partner...). Okay, no asking if it's okay or a time or anything. Thanks for ruining our plans. Edgy mood now created. Nan in a frustrated mood; doesn't wish to take it out on my mum or me. Still no contact from another uncle and a cousin who owe my nan £50 despite several texts and attempted phone calls over the past couple of days. Nan even more frustrated. My nan just gets even more frustrated by the little things and flips out. Needless to say both me and my mum were (and still are) upset by this all, as we've done nothing wrong. We both know she doesn't mean any of it against up, but we are sick to death of it - us taking the brunt for everyone else's flaws. My nan knows she does it to, but she can't help it. I've just given up with my family now. Defriended all of them on Facebook (bar my mum of course) and will cut as many ties as physically possible from them. Call that childish or whatever, but I'm sick of it.Rant over.
Mark9
Peopl who think the tiniest problem is a massive deal. Like on Facebook, there are people that are always depressed and always join stupid little groups devoted to depressing moods. Is your life really that bad?I'll tell you what is bad and what is devastating.Someone at work told me today his wife has alzheimer's. It puts life into perspective when you think that everything you do in your life makes you the person you are. What if you were to forget all that, to forget everything you've been through, everything you are and everything you know.It scares me how bloody stupid people are, thinking their lives are that bad because they can't go on holiday when really, they have no ****ing clue what life is really about. I mean I'll put my hands up and say I've done really whiney stuff on here and Facebook before but I know so many people have it so much worse than me. People loose their loved ones to horrific diseases like Alzheimers, Dementia and Cancer yet all people can complain about is how they feel a bit sad one day?I appreciate some people just need a whine or whatever but then people just go on and on and on and it really gets to me. Learn to appreciate what you have in life and tell the people you love how much they mean etc instead of being a complete douche on Facebook. Oh and people who go 'Oh you are such a tw** or b**** over Facebook and then people go oh who's that about? And they go oh don't worry it doesn't matter. I'm sorry but you put it on Facebook for ALL your friends to see, so don't give me that crap and try and be all sly. Idiots.
JoshC.
I totally agree. Is it really that bad if you've got to get up early? Or if you can't go to Ibiza? Etc. Etc.In the end, there's so many things that people put up with day in day out and do not moan, rant whatsoever. They put up with it. And it is infitely worse than just having to get up early. Thing is, whenever I say anything like this to 'friends', they have a go at me the next time I rant, saying I'm a hypocrite..
Mer
So last year my aunt and uncle decided to get new furniture, and my nan and granddad wanted their old chest of drawers. It's been at our house since they got rid of it, because my mum considered having it and then changed her mind etc. Nan and grandad have only just got round to picking it up And grandad kindly asked my uncle to help him lift it into the car, then out of the car into the house, it's heavy, needs two people to carry, and my brother isn't that strong bless him :DMy grandad has done loads for my uncle, you'd think he'd help out...and they discussed it last week so it's not like we're asking at the last minute. But no, tonight he tells my grandad - his own dad - that he can't and doesn't want to, cos he's been at work for 10 hours and wants to see his kids, and he wants his dinner. Er!!! That's not only out of character for him, but bang out of order! Omg he hasn't seen his kids for 10 hours - so? It's not like he's been away for months or weeks! It would have taken about half an hour, we all have things to do when we're tired and hungry! And as for my aunt...sometimes she just has no common sense. She apparently wanted to come with him (obviously before he decided he wasn't coming) with the kids, aged 6 and nearly 3. Yeah, we're right in the middle of moving house, so a great idea! Plus she's a lazy cow, she never gets up to tell them off etc, she always asks my uncle to do it, even when he's busy working at home! She always goes with him with the kids even if it's not ideal. Like visiting my nan in hospital, would be nice if my uncle could have had some time to talk to her properly without the kids. But no!We used to really enjoy seeing them, we always had a lovely time, but now it's always chaos, mainly because they don't discipline the children enough. They get them ready for bed, they're supposed to be saying goodnight to the family..."I want to play on the Wii!" "No!" *Cries* "Oh ok then, because you've been such a good boy today." Erm, NO! Gemma
I've been watching The Sex Education show the last few nights and it's actually embarrasing how thick kids my age are these day.It made me so angry watching the part where they were talking about gay relationships and the boys were like 'I'd be really unhappy if my mate was gay because I'd be worried that he would fancy me and would try to come onto me.' Ahem, not all gay men fancy every man on the planet. And based on the moronic response you have just given, you aren't worth fancying anyways. Argh. And the double standards boys have when it comes to lesbians makes me want to punch them. It's like a girl says their a lesbian and the response you'd get from an stupid boy is oh you're not fit so it's not acceptable. Just shut up and go lock yourself in a room and don't come out. Ever. Ever.Aha! Yeah, it was really funny when that disabled guy spoke so frankly about his first sexual encounter after losing movement in his lower body - "I pissed on her and fell off the bed". I felt so happy someone gave such an untabooed response to a personal question.AND THEN Gladys in the Bingo Hall! What a laugh she was! Knocking down any kind of remotely ageist comment by saying - "I have a healthy sex life and I'm 68, but I like 69 better!" I love her.But OMG when all those students were like "I'd be afraid if they came on to me" when they were asked how they'd react if a friend came out as homosexual and I just thought - Oh yeah, just because he's gay he instantly fancies you and every other boy in the school. Get your head out of your arse, danke. Then they have the nerve to try and guess who's a lesbian in a line up of naked models just by looking at them! Just goes to show you can't prejudge anyone seeing as none of the students chose the naked model who was in fact a lesbian. They then said (because they were surprised) that "she looks like a family mum". EXCUSE ME? Exactly what does your average "family mum" look like?Just get out. INNIT. Paul
I have a bit of an embarrassing problem that I should probably go to the doctors about. I really don't care about talking to the doctor about it, it's just talking to my parents about it first that's the problem. :/ I'm so embarrassed when it comes to things like this. But it's something I've researched well, it seems quite common and there are many quick and simple ways to treat it. I would love to go to the doctors as soon as possible and get it sorted, but every time I go to talk to my parents about it I just can't. I know, it's so stupid! :/Could anyone who has perhaps been in my situation give some advice? Or anyone for that matter

Will
What annoys me, is hypocrisy. Its made out that is ok for black people to be racist to white people, but it's not ok for white people to be racist to black people. It's annoys when it's made out like it's ok for muslims to cause hatred or say negative things in England, but we aren't allowed to do the same. Another thing which annoys me is bullying. Teachers know that it happens - physical bullying and verbal racial / homophobic abuse but nothing is done about it.
