March 12, 201510 yr comment_204890 I prefer Krake (and Oblivion, obvs) to the bigger brothers of Griffon and Shakira... At least the smaller ones have some actual force to the drops...
March 12, 201510 yr comment_204928 As you know, I disagree. Krake sends me to sleep. Absolutely LOVE Griffon! However this is about theming which looks superb.
March 12, 201510 yr comment_204953 Hey guys,After months of work, I finished my project: a 3D on-ride of Baron 1898.So, do you want to experience what it’s like to ride Baron 1898?Check out this video: http://youtu.be/h9LmgNDF3_4 Greetings, Gijs de Groot (15 years old)PS I got permission from the Efteling to publish this video.
March 14, 201510 yr comment_205081 Nice work!f If tthat turns out to be accurate it should be great ride. Some of those maneuvers look pretty tight for a dive machine.
March 15, 201510 yr comment_205201 It's supposed to have a very tight helix. I think it's the tightest one of a B&M that isn't inverted?
March 15, 201510 yr comment_205204 Looks about the same as Daemonen at Tivoli Gardens in terms of tightness!
March 19, 201510 yr comment_205519 More pics are up: Source - http://www.vijfzintuigen.nl/forum/136/24466.160 The detailing is ridiculous... Even Europa would struggle to be better than this (that said, their repainting of the Seastorm ride is equally ridiculous)...
March 19, 201510 yr comment_205530 That second inversion looks insanely tight for a dive coaster, should be awesome.
March 19, 201510 yr comment_205532 Can we just take a moment to appreciate the real quality we have on our doorstep in Europe... to have the likes of Efteling and Europa Park only 2 hours away from us is pretty sweet. (And then to have a supporting cast of the likes of PortAventura, Phantasialand and Disneyland Paris et al is even sweeter.) Baron looks superb; short, but then all Dive Machines are. Have to say I'm a fan of both the monster B&M divers and the smaller ones - Krake was especially good. BA already has my cash for a jaunt to Holland later this year (£80 return to Amsterdam... bargain!)
March 19, 201510 yr comment_205548 Train to S'Hertonbosch (or whatever the place is called), then a bus... SImples... And here's the ride's entrance:
March 19, 201510 yr comment_205549 Literally can't wait to see what's inside that beautiful building! Also thanks Benin
March 19, 201510 yr comment_205570 My main issue with the layout that I can see is it really doesnt seem to flow between elements. The zero G looks like it shouldve twisted the other way to make the dive loop (or immelmen or whatevers) exit more smooth and then it would enter the helix in a great line. Of course, I can't say that yet as I haven't seen a POV or ridden it, but nonetheless the line the ride takes could be very purposeful, and besides, the theming and the tightness of these elements makes for an exciting project.
March 20, 201510 yr comment_205580 New video, obviously COMPLETELY out of date since the ride is practically built, but you know
April 10, 201510 yr comment_206993 YAS IT'S SO BEAUTIFUL And they've planted little trees everywhere I'm in love <3
