August 23, 201015 yr comment_97166 Some days I look down, afraid, afraid I will fall, and though the sun shines, I see nothing. But I hear your sweet voice, oh come and go....You tell me softly, that you love me so.

August 26, 201015 yr comment_97450 This is the earliest Ellie has ever been up Lol! This is very true! I woke up at 6am (unintentionally) and couldn't get back to sleep D':
August 31, 201014 yr comment_97638 Ok my laptop is now 100% broken, it won't give me any other option than safe mode, it can't go 30mins without the blue screen of death, the graphics card has packed up, I can't access the Internet, it won't let me update, it won't let me restore, it's even scrabbling the content on my iPod!
August 31, 201014 yr comment_97639 If it's a Dell I had a similar problem and I eventually had to give up. Changed to an iMac and no real problems yet and I've it for the same amount of time I had the Dell when it started dying.
August 31, 201014 yr comment_97640 Nope it's an Acer, I need to get it fixed as I can't get an iMac as it's my birthday coming up and I'm getting an iPhone 4. If I took it to somewhere like The Geek Squad at PC World could they fix it for a small amount?
August 31, 201014 yr comment_97641 I was told it's a hardware problem rather than software and so it'd be really expensive to fix and that it would have been like it since it was made. That's why we didn't bother and took the leap to Apple. You can get it checked out for free by the Geek Squad though. If it's the same problem you should be able to write to Acer and say that it doesn't meet quality standards and they should replace it under that as it's a legal requirement (and has nothing to do with warranty). That's what we were told to do by the Geek Squad but Dell were so unhelpful we gave up.
August 31, 201014 yr comment_97642 Ok thanks, I've wanted an iMac for a long time. Do you think that instead of a refund we could just get my money back and maybe use that to go towards a Mac?
August 31, 201014 yr comment_97643 I'm not sure about a refund if it's not within the returns period because that quality standards thing, as far as I'm aware, only requires them to provide you with a replacement. If you can get your money back though, a Mac is certainly a good replacement and no matter what people who don't own a Mac say, I've not heard of anyone I know having problems with theirs and certainly haven't with mine. (although I do drive it crazy with all the programs I have open )
August 31, 201014 yr comment_97644 Ok ill try to get an iMac, the most imeadiate problem would be telling my parents; my dad would go mental!
