themeparkmad Posted May 13, 2009 Author Report Posted May 13, 2009 just a shame it was down for about half of today then is'nt it lol Ok!, I will re=phrase my last answer.Nemesis Inferno is the most reliable rollercoaster at THORPE PARK when I am in the park! Quote
Todge Posted May 13, 2009 Report Posted May 13, 2009 I have never seen any of those effects, but heres the 'inferno' effect that was described above Quote
stealthtastic Posted May 13, 2009 Report Posted May 13, 2009 Ok!, I will re=phrase my last answer.Nemesis Inferno is the most reliable rollercoaster at THORPE PARK when I am in the park! lol I do agree though its a very reliable ride and I love it lol Quote
TraX Posted May 14, 2009 Report Posted May 14, 2009 Looking at that picture makes me sad. Will they just 'apoint' someONE to do it please. Too much passing round the buck, where should the responsibility lie? Engineers have the hassle of having the rides 'working'. I think they should include ride 'effects' as part of that and also, part of their bonus if working as designed too.No effects=no bonus Quote
Woodrow Posted May 16, 2009 Report Posted May 16, 2009 I would definetly not kick nemesis inferno out of bed should it be a human =] it is my favourite ride ever :] Quote

But I have to agree with you Woodrow, I wouldnt kick Nemesis Inferno if a human out of bed! Quote
Phyciodes Posted May 16, 2009 Report Posted May 16, 2009 I would definetly not kick nemesis inferno out of bed should it be a human =]Well thats a very strange way to describe you liking it :PBut fair enough Quote
subculturehero Posted May 17, 2009 Report Posted May 17, 2009 I only got in two rides on Inferno the other day - I normally try to go for at least three ): but then allowances had to be made for Saw! Still felt unfaithful to Inferno though. Quote
TimR Posted May 22, 2009 Report Posted May 22, 2009 I am pleased to announce that some the effects in the cave are working, there are now red lights on the floor and mist sprays you from the red lights, the mist that sprays you when you go into the cave isn't working, also there is mist coming out of the volcano in the queue line which looks amazing, the best ride I have had on Nemesis Inferno this year possibly last year aswell. Or at least from what I've heard and seen anyway. Good on Thorpe for doing this anyway! Quote

Korikon Posted May 22, 2009 Report Posted May 22, 2009 When did they get that fixed? Because I was at the park on Wednesday and didn't think any of the effects were working... Quote
David Posted May 22, 2009 Report Posted May 22, 2009 Yes I saw it and was like.. wow that looks cool xDAnd the tunnel has now definitely gone up in my opinion, normally it was just a close your eyes before you get blinded by water vapour and now it looks kinda cool X) Quote
Phyciodes Posted May 22, 2009 Report Posted May 22, 2009 They wont stay working for long. Well at least they haven't given up with them and we know there still aiming to keep them working Quote
Sam P Posted May 22, 2009 Report Posted May 22, 2009 Yes I have never seen the mist coming out of the top of the volcano so lets hope it is working when I go there. Quote
Johnny07 Posted May 22, 2009 Report Posted May 22, 2009 Neither - wasn't it stopped because of something to do with people climbing the fences to touch it, or something similarly ridiculous? Quote
TimR Posted May 22, 2009 Report Posted May 22, 2009 Neither - wasn't it stopped because of something to do with people climbing the fences to touch it, or something similarly ridiculous? It is actually in reach but its arms length so people won't climb fences to get to it, its just before you go into the station. Paul Posted May 22, 2009 Report Posted May 22, 2009 It is home to rides like Nemesis Inferno, one of the world’s most intense, disorientating, exhilarating roller coasters. This is a quote from a Thorpe Park article at www.alondonguide.com. I know they're trying to sell the park and all, but can you really call it one of the most intense rollercoasters in the world? Quote
Mark9 Posted May 23, 2009 Report Posted May 23, 2009 This is a quote from a Thorpe Park article at www.alondonguide.com. I know they're trying to sell the park and all, but can you really call it one of the most intense rollercoasters in the world? They are hardly going to say it's an above average ride but no where near as good as the one at Alton Towers are they. It's hardly one of the worse ones either.. Pepsi Max easily takes that position Quote

subculturehero Posted May 23, 2009 Report Posted May 23, 2009 Oh boy oh boy that really is something, I've never been on when all of the effects have been working. I got the tunnel mist once before, but that was on a cold September morning anyway so all it did was make my eyes water! Quote
Korikon Posted May 23, 2009 Report Posted May 23, 2009 It didn't look like that earlier in the week damn, that really does look impressive if that's what they've got it like again. Quote
Sidders Posted May 23, 2009 Report Posted May 23, 2009 Korikon, the pictures posted are pictures of Nemesis Inferno back in 2003. But recently the effects on Inferno have been gradually re-appearing, like the mist, red lights and water effects etc. Quote
