Jake C
I think the speed on the first drop is in the high twentys maby the low thirtys, but thats just an estimate from me.

Stokesyboy
Since I last went on Saw, something has been adjusted in the inline twist and the body on the floor. The water doesn't seem to get you now, whereas it did in the past.Ive been squirted twice by the water
Korikon
Ive been squirted twice by the water I never have.. it's not an effect I'm so keen on, it doesn't seem to be that effective. They might as well have put the money to making the body look more realistic, even if you only see it for a few seconds
TimR
I didnt understand it either.I think it depends on how dirty your mind is :)CF says the top speed on SAW is 47mph?
Jamie W
Ok tpkabz, you would be the last person I thought to say that!I must have worded wrong or something. Just forget I posted that! Does anyone know the speed stats of Saw on the vertical drop?Don't worry, I got it!!Anyway, the indoor drop is about 1/3rd of the height of the main drop (roughly speaking) and is about as close to vertical as the main drop (main drop being 100 degrees, indoor about 80) which technically means that it should be a third of the speed of the main drop, which makes it about 18 mph! Will be my first go on 23rd June and it can not go any slower! Glad you got it Gandhi now but it was only meant to be a 5 second joke, not escalate into a debate, so sorry! rossafc
I would imagine it is faster than that, Flying Fish is faster than that.I would of thought that was about right.. its not very fast when you are actually on it but its forceful
Inferno14
Plus, you get to the optimum speed quicker on SAW. What I mean is, the drop takes about 1 second; meaning you go 0-18 in 1 second. Whereas Fish would be more like 15 seconds. Do you understand?

Do you understand?Well, as FF is a powered coaster, I'd assume that it would reach the maximum speed (which is around 18.8MPH) in less time than that.As for the drop, it does feel of a similar speed to FF, so I'd assume it would be about 20MPH max. Theme Park bloke
Does anyone know the width of the saw track? Is it as wide as Oblivion's?Or is it just me?
Paul
I heard it's about 6 inches wider than Oblivion's track.
Inferno14
Really?! Well SAW's is only 4 seats, whereas Oblivion's is 8. Although, when I boarded SAW I thought: "Wow that's pretty wide." Though I can't see it being as wide/if not wider than Oblivion's.
James6
I can't believe it's wider than Oblivion's to be honest. It may be the same or slightly less but I would be unbelieveably surprised if it is wider than Oblivion's

Rocket
maybe wider then nemesis or air at alton towers but surely not oblivion.why would oblivions track be so small for 8 people wide???.it common sense saws track would have to be smaller
TimR
I think they are around the same or SAW's is bigger, compare these two pics,
