weeby-vuit
Q: Does anyone live in the house in the Gardens? is it used as a green room too?
James6
^ No-one would live there, I'd assume it would be used to store gardening equipment.

Paul
Just sifting through some alton towers archives, I've found what I remember watching as a superb attraction, 'Boneshaker'. I never rode it, but wow it sure does look like a fantastic ride. I'd love to give that a try if it were still here.

I miss it (like I miss Dynamo )
RobF
For anyone interested 'Your day' which went into admistration last year and ceased trading last year. Well alton towers purchased the rights and equipment and well the system has been re launched and re-branded as the Alton Towers Resort DVD. Costing around £15 at present. ( information taken from towers times)
James6
Indeed -_-Here is the shop as it is now with the newly branded "Alton Towers Resort DVD"

James6
Agreed... It really rolls off the tongue :(Aha, I guess at least it's more apparent to the GP what it is
AJ
Right Quick Question as it's been a while since I visited hereAs you all know AP holders get to go into the towers an 1hr before park opening to the GP.My question - I am bringing 2 cousins with me tomorrow, can they come in with me an hour before as well or do I regretfully have to wait till 10 with them? Many Thanks
James6
I'm afraid you will have to wait with them. You could go off and meet with them again later, but they couldn't enter before 10. the general rule is usually of the majority of that group are AP holders, then you'll be let through. Sorry
AJ
I thought that was the case but it was worth a shot

SorryActually, you can get in if you prebook online as well as having an annual pass. When I went during easter 3 of us had annual passes and my cousin booked online but he still gt in with us.http://www.altontowers.com/special-offers/theme-park-tickets/
Mark9
As James6 said, they are usually leniant if a majrotiy of people in a group have an Annual Pass.
noob230
Must of missed that part. Sorry
JoshC.
Still no harm in asking to be honest. If you get a leinient member of staff, you may get lucky.
thorpeparkjack
I had this experience on Tuesday, asked but no luck. However as Josh said there is no harm in trying.
treeis
Did anyone who went to Alton towers recently see the granny on the motorised basket thing that was blasting out club music? That really made my day!
James6
You mean Gran-ny Turismo ?I must admit, they are great.

MikeyT
I've not seen these at the parks unfortunately, though they were absolutely hilarious when I saw them back in February at the Britain's Got Talent auditions! Highlight of the day for me!
JBdaWonderLlama
I've never been to AT. I went to Thorpe Park for the first time last year and have been there numerous times since, would it be better for me to go to AT this year to get a new experience or go to TP again? James6
For me, there would be no question, and IMO Alton and Thorpe are leagues apart, Alton being the much better park.Although, if all you want is thrills then you may prefer Thorpe. (Despite Alton still attracting more "thrill" guests than Thorpe )Especially as you've never been to Alton, I think that would be the obvious choice
