Dan9
LOVING the end of the world theme !! Hope they keep that for the ride <3Though it might be kind of awkward when the ride re-opens with the park for the 2013 season.
Luke_A
I wonder if this codename actually resembles anything, it could turn out to be something stupid like Dylan being Candy Holland's cat! Can't wait to find out more!
AdamY
Very exciting, I like it a lot! Nice and cryptic, hehe.

trippy
X:/ No Way Out is an indoor coaster though..?yh I know, ok indoor isnt the right word I just meant like a roller-coaster like the mummy ride in universal studios with lot of theming not plain pitch black with some dodgy plastic robots
Luke_A
Well, IF it is a B&M, I doubt anyone would put one indoors! Thorpe has X:\NWO, anyway.
Will
This is so exciting, I hope for a post-apocalyptic/nuclear themed rollercoaster. It would really suit the urban setting of Thorpe Park.
Benin
Damn... I cannot think of something witty to link Thorpe and the End of the World in an amusing manner... As you were folks...Here's to several pages of fanboy speculation, excitement, then disappointment... *raises glass*
JoshC.
Interesting tactic from Thorpe though.Advertising a ride before planning application is accepted...
Marc
Interesting tactic from Thorpe though.Advertising a ride before planning application is accepted...Happens with most rides does it not? Storm Surge rings a bell, Stealth. I guess theres no real reason for it to be refused.
holtjammy16
Though it might be kind of awkward when the ride re-opens with the park for the 2013 season.Haha! I think everythings going to be akward the day it turns 2013!But I kindof meant themed on after the world has ended maybe? Like what Trippy said about the nuclear waste thing
Benin
Or maybe it has absolutely nothing to do with the world 'ending' and will be some form of apocalypse theme?Six Flags are renaming Terminator as Apocalypse... So it's certainly a viable theme, and it probably won't look too different from Staines town centre... electricBlll, Luke_A and holtjammy16

I guess theres no real reason for it to be refused.Yep, Storm Surge sure did. Stealth, thought that was first officially advertised when the park opened, but meh. But how can you be so sure that it won't be refused? If locals don't like and kick up a big enough fuss, anything is possible...
Marc
Oh of course, but I doubt they would risk looking silly and potentially alot of money if they were not pretty confident of it going ahead
MiniShinny
Is this advertising available to the public ( cant spot it on the website) or is it at TPM exclusive. Because it would be silly to advertise for this before storm surge has even been opened.
electricBlll
Not really. This will be a big project for something that will open only one a bit years from now, so advertising should begin pretty soon. Storm Surge is a very minor ride. Marc
This is just the Project Name, not officially advertising or anything what would really interest people apart from fans of the park!

Because it would be silly to advertise for this before storm surge has even been opened.Nope, not on their site as far as I'm aware. However, TPM - being an official link, and appealing to the GP as well as fans - will probably mean the news spreads over Facebook and the like relatively quickly. Not really. This will be a big project for something that will open only one a bit years from now, so advertising should begin pretty soon. Storm Surge is a very minor ride.I don't see the logic in advertising a ride a year before it will open, before the park is open for the preceding season and before they've got confirmation they can build the ride. Of course, I'm assuming that they won't follow this one with others on a regular basis, creating a good story or something, and that they haven't got confirmation they can construct it. Is it possible for a planning application to not be published online with a specific request? You never know, they may have already submitted it in if that's possible...
