Stokesyboy
So we should start to see it on tv this week or next?
Fred
Doesn't really matter what the film is - it depends who the advertising is provided by.I wanna know if DCM will get the adverts - if so, it'll be epic to see it in my cinema. thorpeparkjack
Woking is Ambassadors, so not like a nationwide chain or anything - thought I imagine you will see the advert in most other cinemas.
jonnyfingers
Woking is also very close to Thorpe Park so maybe they're aiming the marketing at those in the parks's surrounding area first before rolling it out nationwide. Sheepie
I just want to point out that the advert is being shown at Showcase over at Bluewater. It was played before a showing of the Woman in Black.
Fred
Well if you want to be picky about it, then actually you probably would see it on Journey2 in the evenings. As it's not branded as in the kids timings. But for the overwhelming majority of films you're gonna end up seeing it, if they're advertising through that agency. mah boi
Damn. I never knew the swarm publicity stunt made it to the USA papers.http://travel.usatoday.com/destinations/dispatches/post/2012/02/extreme-coaster-rips-limbs-off-dummies-terrifies-fighter-pilots/634599/
AstroDan
And I love how Hersheypark totally say that sort of marketing is not their style.
Mark9
"It may be smart marketing on (Thorpe Park's) end. But that's not the message we want to be giving. We're all about safety," she says.By building an Intamin?!
Bubbles1
LOL. I also love the little bit by the writer basically saying "na na, ours is faster than yours!"So impartial.
Stokesyboy
Was just reading through some press releases and found this on one of them:"It will the be the UK's first winged ride - with thrill-seekers sitting either side of the track - and will also feature 4D rotating seats."I didn't know it had 4D rotating seats?!And now I've just read a comment which says: "I would check your sources Aol, The seats do not rotate, if they did it would have been manufactured by Arrow and not B&M. Your unprofessional attitude to this article has startled me. It appears as though it has been written by that of a 12 year old." Mark9
Looks like a teaser ad to me, considering that had dummies on it and the actual TV advert apparently has people. Sidders
