Posted June 24, 201213 yr comment_138451 So our resident trolley dolley linked this rather awesome, drool-worthy video in chat and it had to be shared! Look at how red the blood is on Nemesis! And how colourful Corky looks! Enjoy
June 25, 201213 yr comment_138456 Staff standing on the edge of Thunderlooper platform as the train hurtles through. Wouldn't see that now I'm sure.
June 25, 201213 yr comment_138457 One thing I noticed is how great Nemesis looks back then with its raw rocks and no pretty overgrown trees! It looks menacing and not like an garden centre I fear that in a couple of years The Swarm will have these overgrown plants and The Swarm will be tearing past nice beautiful plants and trees! Not very post-apocalyptic now is it! Its already happening to Saw where collection of trees are started to pop up near the warehouse and looks very non industrial, and Merlin don't seem to be bothered to cut them down
June 25, 201213 yr comment_138477 "If I wanted to see plants (and trees), I'd go to a garden centre...". Probably the first time EVER I've heard a complaint about too many plants there Liam (though I do sorta agree) Just goes to show that with Merlin adding these post-apocalyptic themes that they still need to do a lot of upkeep, despite what people say...
June 25, 201213 yr comment_138479 Disagree with Liam here. Love the way the Nemesis train disappears up the lift and only appears as it rockets through the trees and into the first corkscrew, before diving underground. Theme park theatre at its best.
June 25, 201213 yr comment_138501 Nemesis looks far better with trees everywhere than it did in 1994. Admittedly, the theming was in better shape back then but now it has all the hallmarks of a classic terrain coaster.
June 27, 201213 yr comment_138545 Wonder why they changed the nemesis branding. That old font is a billion times better.
July 8, 201213 yr comment_138777 Another Ian Mansfield video thats well worth a watch for classic towers & Nemesis construction.
September 10, 201212 yr comment_141001 Bollinger and Mabillarr though - what's that all about?! B&M it is more commonly known as And that, ladies and gents, is going on the wall.
