StevenVig got a reaction from pognoi in The Gruffalo River Ride Adventure
Lets face it, whatever will be used will not compare to the Bubbleworks theme in anyway.

Just to further back up my point, at this point Gruffalo wins this one.

There is a new track that was playing at IAC, but we're not sure it was supposed to be playing. It sounded like a new IMAScore piece.

I think you are all nit picking for the sake of it.
Do you not remember what was in place before that cardboard cutout, it was just a shower curtain. Everything in the station has always been cardboard or wood. You've also probably failed to notice the foliage that covers the entire ceiling. The station looks absolutely awesome!
I've not ridden this yet, but from everything I've seen online, I think they have done a fine job and there are a lot of enthusiasts at the park who would agree. Yes there are some dead spots, but given Merlin's track record, this surpasses my expectations. I think it's a worthy replacement.
So stop picking at things that don't need it, but I do agree on the spacing between Ride & Adventure, wonder what happened there.

Literally driving home this evening and drive past a shop to see this out of the corner of my eye. Turn round and it's the feet from the Bubbleworks. Very random. A shop in Carshalton, Surrey.

StevenVig reacted to Ryan in TPM PortAventura Meet September 2017
Hola! I’m excited to finally announce the details for our 2017 European trip to PortAventura!
The dates for this meet will be Saturday 9th September - Tuesday 12th September. There is not a vote for this meet due to other commitments and trying to make the trip as cheap as possible for all.
This is a longer meet than usual due to there being two parks and a waterpark which we will be visiting. PortAventura is a fantastic park and I would recommend a few days to get everything done (plus ride Baco until you break your backo). As this is a trip abroad it is strictly an over 18’s meet I’m afraid. I understand some of you may be disappointed about this, but due to the meet being outside the country it complicates matters too much!
This meet is taking a lot of advanced planning and is obviously more expensive than a standard meet, which is why we are giving you plenty of notice to save up/book time off work etc.
I have used Expedia to price up this trip and the cheapest I’ve found it (based on a room of 4) is £223 each which includes hotel, flights, park tickets (plus 1 day Ferrari Land entry) and breakfast each day. Obviously the earlier this is booked, the cheaper it will be. I have just booked a room of 4 for 4 members who have shown previous interest. I can help out with recommendations for booking, but it will be down to yourselves to book flights and accommodation how you wish.
You can make your own travel arrangements, but these are our planned flights:
We will be staying at the onsite Hotel El Paso which is a 4* hotel with onsite swimming pool, 2 restaurants and live entertainment. It is also a short walk to the park.
Based on previous experience going to PortAventura, there is absolutely no chance I would recommend visiting this park without using their unlimited fastpass. As onsite hotel guests we get this at a discounted rate and it is valid for our entire stay (I believe it is around 50Euro’s each). This is something we will all be getting so please bare that in mind when calculating costs.
Our previous European park visits have been absolutely fantastic and there is no reason why this would be any different. If you have any questions then please do feel free to message me and I will help as much as I can. Let me know below if you are interested in attending!

You forgot the part where they turn one train backwards.

Platforms return is a surprise, but like others have already suggested it might do a Big Top and actually become half decent this year, we shall see!
FIA on Saw Alive was good, but when you've experienced The Asylum on the first year they started FIA, nothing will compare.

He might still be involved, but I can guarantee his heart isn't in it.

StevenVig reacted to Martin Doyle in Jingle Bell Fall TPM Meet
Apart from me and Steven losing to peaj at air hockey (at the same time!!), this was a great meet!! Those views from the top of the London Eyes were simply magnificent!!. Winter wonderland was fantastic this year apart from me being an idiot and deciding to pull the restraints down too far on Olympia (which is a magnificent coaster especially for a temporary one by the way) which near enough killed my shoulders. Well done to Ryan and Paige on becoming the new meet organisers and all the best to Peaj (by the way me and Steven only let you win by the way....)

StevenVig reacted to AJ in Looking For: Meet Organiser x 2
Well as it was announced at the TPM Christmas meet yesterday. The boards have voted for Paige to be meet organiser followed by Ryan, so these two from now on will be taking over the meets from myself.
thank you everyone for all the good memories that have come about with me doing this role and I am sure Paige and Ryan will do a fantastic job and create loads more memories for everyone going forward
