  2. ...Meanwhile those with enough common sense to know when a ride has had its day will be observing this thread like: JUST LET AN ALREADY DYING RIDE DIE ALREADY!!! Seriously though, I've never cringed so hard in my life...

Double post but for a Yogscast moment, this is absolutely incredible. That ending
  4. PlanCo's latest DLC has landed, and I'm gonna be honest...it actually looks amazing
  5. Probably the creators themselves after checking in on their box office income...
  6. My recent trip to Liseberg certainly said a lot about my photography... Even this one was incredibly lucky! A typical shot of Valkyria with Helix perfectly timed in the background. ?

"Good to see you lying there in your Superman skivvies..."
  8. Sounds like the usual yob who thinks Fastrack magically gets them onto the ride in the blink of an eye...
  9. I think I made a huge mistake of glancing at ConnorJ's post above this after watching the video... The ride did look great back then, even without all the vegetation.
  10. Yeah true, I personally remember it very well from the early 2000s, just before its removal. And if '99 was it's first appearance, it wouldn't surprise me, given Chessington were going all out towards the thrillseekers that year (hence Samurai).
  11. No one's mentioned yet, but it also seems the queue has received some new spooky ambient music and while it may not be the original (boo!), it still sounds pretty good (despite the fact it's a little too on the quiet side), especially with parts of the station soundtrack distantly fading in and out occasionally. Safety announcements fade into it nicely as well, instead of cutting the music right out with the annoying bat/wolf howling sound effects. Not to mention the voice itself now actually sounds menacing and fitting, instead of tired and unmotivated like the old ones*. Even the PA announcements don't interfere with the audio whatsoever! * Saying that, we now only wait for the terrible station announcements to be re-recorded by the same person as in the new queue music. Those incredibly tired "Mwa-ha-ha-ha"s never fail to be irritating...

    Legoland

Either that or very simply, if they can see it, they wouldn't even care. There's been an ongoing pattern in recent years that Merlin seem to think that the majority of guests are blind to theming or any kind of detail, rather just pay attention to the bare bones of the ride or attraction instead.
