  1. In my experience that fast track queue is used every time I'm there, except if the queue is really short/walk on its not used as there is no point obviously.

    What about the dispatch music?

Any update on the closed rides? Colossus, Rush and Samurai all still down?
  4. Cal replied to Lewie900's topic in General Discussion
I believe the operator has no control at all, they click a start button and the computer does the rest.

I don't see how it would be cheaper? Swarm would still require the same amount of staff in the station. Assume it would just be down to lack of demand? Or could of been causing problems/easier maintenance wise.
  6. Cal replied to JoshC.'s topic in General Discussion
Technically Swarm still has still never had a full day closed, seeing as AP day was a preview day and today is the first day of the season! Go Swarm!
  7. They were trailing this at Wet'n'Wild back in October when I was there, it's a good system. You wear an electric watch which displays how long you have until your next ride. To select a ride you just go up to one of the points around the park, scan you watch and choose one on a touchscreen display. Should be perfect by the time volcano bay opens
  8. I miss the days of 2013 with the Dispatch music blasting out with the new station music, and the entrance music blasting out in the queue
  9. 18th should be very quiet yes. You can have a look at the queue times for good Friday last year here, compared to Friday the 13th of March here for an idea.
  10. Friday 25th is good Friday so schools and colleges will be off, the 18th will be a lot quieter I'd imagine!

Just in the station or queue and area as well? And what do they say?

Just 3 now I believe. It doesn't stop on the block brakes like it used to on now way out when it ran 5 trains. It stacks on 3 trains now so there would be no point running more anyway
  13. It'll be open now
  14. Cal replied to Artie's topic in The Past
It's just from the end of last season haha, it still hasn't been updated.

Well according to Thorpes website, Slammer is now closed for the rest of the season Congrats Slammer, you lasted 2 days!
  16. Cal replied to Ash's topic in General Discussion
Thanks for the update. Is the new music a single track like in 2013 or a mix of songs like the last 2 years?
  17. Cal replied to Ash's topic in General Discussion
Agreed! Or advertise it as a preview instead of celebration day. Turns out Inferno has opened already anyway!
  18. Cal replied to Ash's topic in General Discussion
It says on the letter to take it to guest services on the day of your NEXT visit.
  19. Cal replied to Ash's topic in General Discussion
Feel very sorry for those working in guest services right now...

So Detonator has received new music for this year, which can be heard on TPMs facebook. Fits in a lot better with the area I guess, but I'm seriously going to miss the old track. One of the best on park IMO.
  21. Since when did Towers allow re-rides?
  22. Thankyou Han [emoji4]

  24. Yeah back then it didn't have them, and apparently you had a more intense drop as well It wasn't much of a problem really just a bit uncomfortable the way you have to position your legs. Guess it has to be done though, so idiots can't stand up
  25. Thanks Adam Jealous of you getting on Mako and Kong Have a good time. I see what you mean, there is much to do which you don't even know about, like we were walking round the Jurassic park area and came across some like water/play area and loads of kids were spraying us haha. I really wanted to go on that flying thing but you have to have someone small with you Yeah we watched the stunt show which was pretty good and had such a cool stage/set, but unfortunately didn't go in Poseidons Fury. I knew it was there but just completely forgot about it! What is it like, it looks pretty good from the outside!? We also watched animal actors at studios, but didn't really think much of that! Yeah the re-ride thing is still there, once you get outside its on the right It takes you to the front of the building so you still have to walk around the whole building again, but it misses out the first chunk and the queue for the metal detectors as well! Studios is a good park, but just no where near as good as IOA. I knew Nintendo land was happening, but didn't know it was going where Kidzone is! That area seriously looks pretty awful.
