Joegibbon Posted February 16, 2012 Report Posted February 16, 2012 Shambhala just looks incredible, I really need to get back to PortAventura. Last time I went was before furius baco was built
AdamY Posted February 16, 2012 Report Posted February 16, 2012 Meh, here's something that's really worth talking about! From Orlando Parks News (http://orlandoparksn...lagoons_15.html) Mark9 and pluk 2
Mark9 Posted February 16, 2012 Report Posted February 16, 2012 I love all the little stuff Disney does during its quieter parts of the year. They really understand that the key to success is to keep your rides, your lands and even your pathways as fresh and clean as possible. Their attitude is refreshing.
JackR Posted February 17, 2012 Report Posted February 17, 2012 I got a couple of photos of the New Fantasy Land concept art form Monday. I'll upload them tonight when I get the opportunity. It's quite a big area and there seems to be a rather large looking yellow coaster tucked away in the corner... Let the speculation start here
Joegibbon Posted February 17, 2012 Report Posted February 17, 2012 The large looking coaster is probably the seven dwarves mine train, or orphan rocker version 2. It's basically a cross between a mine train coaster, and a swinging coaster.
Liam T Posted February 17, 2012 Report Posted February 17, 2012 Most likely it is The Great GoofiniNothing too major
Sidders Posted February 18, 2012 Report Posted February 18, 2012 Shambhala's lift hill is complete. Credit to PAC.
Benin Posted February 18, 2012 Report Posted February 18, 2012 Hmmmmmmm just imagining the sexy floater time that'll be provided
AdamY Posted February 18, 2012 Report Posted February 18, 2012 I... But... Surely... No... WHAT :wub:Credit to PAC as always. UnderItAll and Cornflakes 2
Sidders Posted February 19, 2012 Report Posted February 19, 2012 50ft wing-span and a weight of 800lbs! Looks awesome!
Will Posted February 19, 2012 Report Posted February 19, 2012 50ft wing-span and a weight of 800lbs! Looks awesome! What is the bird for??
Will Posted February 19, 2012 Report Posted February 19, 2012 Is it a piece of themeing?? I thought it was a piece of themeing on the coaster trains but then that would be too heavy.
Ricky Posted February 19, 2012 Report Posted February 19, 2012 Possibly just a few inches to big too!
Fred Posted February 19, 2012 Report Posted February 19, 2012 And possibly the slight chance that it'll be slightly too wide, or too big, to go on a coaster train.Nah, it's meant to replace one of the seats on the ride.
Sheepie Posted February 19, 2012 Report Posted February 19, 2012 It is a real bird Will. It'll be chained to the station roof so it cannot escape. It'll act as a close encounter for many guests as they try to escape death from the wrath of the eagle, angered as it writhes in its chained containment.Dollywood is deep.Sorry WIll, was feeling sarcastic. What else do you think it could be then if it's not themeing? AdamY, Cornflakes, Will and 1 other 4
Will Posted February 19, 2012 Report Posted February 19, 2012 I knew it was themeing but I wasn't sure where it would be.Helpful people here TPGG 1
Sidders Posted February 19, 2012 Report Posted February 19, 2012 It's going to be positioned over the entrance to the queueline, which in turn puts it over the point where the train exits the station too. It's going on top of that station structure, with talons outstretched so as to give the impression it is swooping down to pick up the riders. UnderItAll 1
JackR Posted February 20, 2012 Report Posted February 20, 2012 This is looking like a bit of a Skyrush, it looks better and better as the construction progresses. I really need to get myself out to PA and ride this some time soon!
