Stuntman707
The Lego McLaren Senna is at the park until the 1st September if anyone's interested to see it. It has a full interior, working lights & entertainment system and details down to the holes in the brake discs.
Stuntman707
Stuck THIRTY FOOT in the air. Nearly two floors high. The Health & Safety was shocking! No guest harness to be escorted down a short staircase. The Sun are trying their best to taint the Theme Park industry as unsafe yet again. We went to the busiest theme park in the UK on a hot day... AND IT WAS BUSY!!! Shock horror. https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/9798544/legoland-nightmare-rollercoaster-gets-stuck-heat/amp
JoshC.
As much as is sensationalist garbage with people putting on compo faces, they do have two good points: -Being stuck in the air with no shade on a 30C isn't pleasant. -Plenty of people will question, or at least raise an eyebrow, when they see staff evacuating them wearing full harnesses whilst they themselves don't wear full harnesses (assuming of course that's what happened; I don't know what the procedure is for Dragon?) Doesn't justify the ridiculousness of the article, but sadly woven in there is two reasonable irrefutable points. A normal, reasonable person would deal with these with the park and 99% of the time an acceptable resolution would be reached. Shame someone has had to go to the papers. Mark9
But Josh, it took them FOUR hours to get there. Legoland should have foreseen this and built the park in Porthill. JoshuaA, Ringo and JoshC.
Glitch
I never understand how the Sun get away with this. Merlin could just pull there min yearly promotion as the result of bad press.
Benin
The Sun have got away with a lot worse than some sensationalism about a theme park ride...

Matt 236
This is the ride I have dreamed of them building! At least one Merlin Park is getting a coaster then.
JoshuaA
Nice addition! Really like what the park have been doing recently investment-wise, Ghost and Ninjago is pretty solid tbf. Its funny how every Merlin park is heading in a bright direction at the moment, then there is Thorpe..

I suppose it is then. Because I never thought we would actually see them add a Coaster. The only RMC Thorpe will ever get is the people who founded it back in 1979. Can’t see them getting a Coaster soon. Glitch

Like going to Poland or seeing Tornado Springs. The Park needed another (small) coaster anyway.

Matt 236
And in surprising (or unsurprising) news, Legoland Windsor have confirmed via social media they will be removing their Star Wars Miniland walkthrough. With the other Legoland parks removing their equivalent attractions, it is highly likely the result of Disney’s ownership of the brand and the recent openings of the Galaxy’s Edge areas in Disney resorts. The attraction closes on the 31st December if anyone wants to see it before this disappears into the force.
Kerfuffle
Who wants to bet the building will be used for a dark ride? ...putting 2p on it because of course it'll NEVER happen.
Benin
Rocket Racers 3? Putting a dark ride there wouldn't be great given the location requiring a ridiculous throughput... Perhaps something like a "Factory Tour" style attraction like at Germany would be ideal...
