John Smith
So I don't have to trawl through pages of threads, does anybody have the current Slammer queueling audio? The one with the ratchet noise in the background. Many thanks. Also, on the topic of restraints - it's ALWAYS fun to pull a friends shoulder bars down. They really put the handles in the right place for doing that Yeah...

Ricky
I don't believe in jinxes, rides along with other machinary are unpredictable when they will have downtime or not.
Paul
I have a question that I wonder if anyone who works at the park can answer. Or anyone else who knows! On Slammer, why do the ride team always wait until the ride has finished its cycle before preparing guests behind the loading gates? Why do they not do this during the cycle? (As surely this would save time). I understand that there is obviously a perfectly legitimate reason behind it, I just don't know what it is! Theme Park bloke
Yeah, they don't let you through the wooden gate.
Ricky
I think its the same as Samurai where at least one member of staff have to be watching the ride, in Slammer's case they might need one either side I'm not sure. However it does baffle me if this is not the case.
Rich
Slammer yesterday was batching people while the ride was running.
Paul
Oh, that's good to hear. I suppose it's just the way the ride team decide to operate - some may batch during the ride cycle, and others may not. It saves a hell of a lot of time though. themeparkmad
Slammer yesterday was batching people while the ride was running.I have also seen people boarding Slammer whilst the ride is in operation.EDIT: Yes I meant batching. Sorry guys!I advise no one to board any Ride or Attraction when it is in operation!

TimR
I have also seen people boarding Slammer whilst the ride is in operation.Ummm? Keith I think you may need to edit that .It's the same with Samurai, I think it all depends on how many memebers of the ride team there are. themeparkmad
Sorry guys for the confusion. I have edited my post above.
Theme Park bloke
Slammer yesterday was batching people while the ride was running.Yes, that does happen. Differenty staff members operate Slammer's queue differently.
