Coaster
The one for the ride looks better than the film one
Fred
Point is, Gringott's isn't even finished and Stealth's is. And Merlin thinks it's second in the world in theme park entertainment when it makes people queue in a cattle-pen and Universal offers queues like the aforementioned. Again, compare this to Rip Ride Rockett. Stealth is actually better themed and a far nicer queueing experience.
Benin
This is for a theme park... A theme park! From Theme Park Collective Matt 236 and Mitchada04
Mitchada04
Those pictures don't do it justice either! It looks brilliant in those pics and bloody amazing in real life (and this was with the walls still up around it!) It really is a beautiful sight from Springfield and adds so much secrecy to Diagon Alley as you can't see a thing apart from London! The double yellows area great touch too! Imagineer
I used to live near where Grimmauld Place was filmed. It's crazy how close it is to the real thing - and quite strange too, to see it in a theme park when I used to walk past the building every day. Matt 236
To say that attention to detail looks remarkable, would be an understatement. Wow!

Mitchada04
(Orlando Informer) Opening date confirmed for 8th July for all muggles, wizards and witches. Guess press people have their own category. Oh well! One of the best ride entrances ever? Definitely! Matt 236
This area looks fantastic. As a big potter fan,I'm very very excited about this area opening, that fire dragon is just fantastic. It's mandatory I somehow find a way to get to this place in the near future! Makes uk's new areas look like fairgrounds in comparison. alexander
DOES THE DRAGON BREATHE FIRE TOO?! I have to go, right now.
Benin
Given the entire fantastic look of the area, it's actually disappointing that the dragon is completely static bar the odd breathe of flame... Area ruined! </3 EDIT - POV of Hogwarts Express, spoilers abound obviously if you don't want to see it... jom222
pluk
As much as linking to tpr makes me feel dirty, some views of a visitor... http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=1462754#p1462754 I NEED to know what happens in Gringotts! JoshC.
Via @derekburgan on Twitter: Â CATTLEPEN IN GRINGOTTS! Â Â Â (And that's another reason why Angry Birds Land is better than Diagon Alley ) pognoi
Benin
There's also that MASSIVE cattlepen outside Gringotts that is completely unthemed and ruins any form of escapism... Of course it's only to be used when the area is heaving, but it's still a shame that multi-million dollar investments can't stretch to theme every last corner... Will
Â Â So Screamscape posted this video:and said the coaster 'bares striking similarities' to what the Harry Potter coaster can do. Â I don't know if this video has already been posted. Â Whilst I overall liked the Forbidden Journey at IOA, I felt like it summarised the Harry Potter films (the best bits), but I really like the new Gringotts coaster, and think it will be much better than FJ. Â Is anyone going this year?
Altitude
^ They obviously didn't make the Harry Potter coaster but I can't wait to see it get built!
JoshC.
Diagon Alley has officially opened today... Â Photo by UO. Â You may wonder what the apparent queue time for Escape from Gringotts? Â Just a mere 4 hours as it stands. pognoi
