RideAddict
We haven't seen any pictures of any part of the queueline and station since this news was announced - for all we know it could be being changed as we speak.
Benin
TPM FB... That wasn't the winning slogan!
SteveJ
A billboard with a hole in it. Because hell is everybody's idea of fun! Why they think this will bring in more visitors this year I have no idea. It may offer a momentary feeling of danger, but will make very little impact to the overall ride experience. It isn't really that interesting to look at, it's just "piece of devasted theming no.7". At least they have done something, I guess.
JoshC.
Yeah, Thorpe have been updating their Twitter account with pictures of Swarm whilst filming the TV ad. Unsurprisingly, they've been a tease and not shown the backwards rows in any pictures... Also, I wonder if the billboard will have a different slogan / design on the other side? RideAddict
Yeah, as you fly backwards through it, it will read: "Don't turn around!"
Marc
It looks like the back rows in the train going around at the moment are still facing forwards to me
Benin
It looks like the back rows in the train going around at the moment are still facing forwards to me It LOOKS that way but I didn't want to say that as it's not 100% definite from that pic... Dan9
It LOOKS that way but I didn't want to say that as it's not 100% definite from that pic... It looks 100% to me, you can see the restraint around the dummy on the far right.
Benin
Seeing as my 100% accuracy this year at claims has been less than so, you can forgive me for being cautious
StevenVig
or that may not be the modified train....?
JoshC.
But aren't BOTH of the trains meant to be modified?
Benin
or that may not be the modified train....? Thorpe surely couldn't be THAT stupid to change only one train...... Could they?

Marc
Or maybe they just havent done this one yet.. Would explain the limited tickets available on AP day.
RideAddict
Thorpe surely couldn't be THAT stupid to change only one train...... Could they? Surely it would be better to leave the trains alone, just re-attach them to the track as normal and re-test. Honestly, they're a bunch of butterfingers. Coaster
That concerns me if they haven't got it sorted yet, can it really be done in under two weeks? (Main season) If not then we would either see one train operation or a very complicated queueing system - either or which would be awful but not something that I would put past thorpe! On a bright note though, I am liking the look of that Billboard
Ricky
I think it's safe to say we will see 1 train operation for the first week or so, as much as we hate it! I believe it will be two train operation (one with one without backwards seats) APD though. We will have to wait and see
Benin
1 train operation on opening weekend? MattyMoo and Coaster
Ricky
Certainly looks that way, unless they keep the train with all forwards rows on until the Monday after opening. Depends how long it takes for the modification. I'm sure they won't want to faff around too much.. I think...
Mer
I'm confused. Why are both trains not ready with backwards facing seats? Leaving it a bit late aren't they! Coaster
Marc
Still over a week til open day, almost 2 weeks till open weekend (when it will really be needed) No need to worry yet!
J.S217
I think that effect when on the backrow you come swooping over the zero g roll then you just have enough time to read the billboard before being flung into the Inclined loop
TPJames
Just going back into the slogans... The slogan on that billboard is worse than the winning slogan and the winning slogan wasn't that good Honestly thorpe...

The slogan on that billboard is worse than the winning slogan and the winning slogan wasn't that good Honestly thorpe... The winning slogan is probably on the other side of the billboard though, they wouldn't tell someone their slogan won and then not use it. (But then, this is Thorpe park we are talking about...) (But then, this is Thorpe park we are talking about...) If you read the terms and conditions of the competition it says that the winning slogan may not be used on the billboard
