I know its early but thought it would be good to keep conversation of 2025 separate. Opening hours for the 2025 have been released already. https://www.thorpepark.com/plan-your-visit/before-you-visit/opening-times/ - Season will start on Friday 28th March and end on Sunday 2nd November. - Continuation of 5pm closes for off peak weekdays, 6pm for holidays and every weekend. - Couple of closed Wednesdays during April and May but they were very quiet this year. - 7pm closes throughout the summer holidays and every Saturday from mid June. - September has a couple of closed Wednesdays. - Park will be closed in Oct…

Whilst I don't anticipate there to be significant discourse on here this evening, the Fright Nights Launch Event is this evening, so I'd expect there to be spoilers floating about ahead of the official opening tomorrow. Please share anything that could be considered a Spoiler here. If you want to follow along and get some updates of the event, and insights into what might have changed and the quality this year, follow along with your favourite fansite (that's Thorpe Park Mania, in case it wasn't obvious) on all good (and bad) social media!

Hyperia officially opens tomorrow, ending a 12 year drought of new coasters at Thorpe. Tonight is the press launch, which means there will be plenty of reviews about. As such, for anyone who doesn't want the station interior spoiled - or doesn't want to hear people's views - we'll have this thread here. We'll keep the other thread for construction / archiving. I'll post my views on Hyperia here tonight, and look forward to reading plenty more tomorrow!

So hear is my 3 question poll: 1.In your opinion do you think the new backward facing seats is a good addition to Swarm?? 2.Do you think the new Billboard near miss is a good addition to Swarm?? 3.What is your favourite near miss?? If anyone knows anything or has any photo updates from the current closed season you can post It all here. What if anything do you think will happen to Old Town or the second hand Waymouth Sealife Rides that arrived for the start of last season. Post anything closed season related on this thread!

Talking with my "late eightys" Aunty, when I informed her of my enthusiasm for roller coasters she loudly commented...... "What? that's worse than tattoos, don't you tell any of my friends, up to now they liked you"......................right between the eyes!

New for 2014 the Angry Birds 4d experience! The show is actually very good - the seats and the use of multiple special effects has been done very well, seems to be getting a good reaction on park which is good to!

Hello, I am new to this forum but have been a fan of Thorpe for years. Does anyone know if they are having an annual pass day this year, if so which date. Many thanks Ollie

As some of you may be aware, the purchase price of a Thorpe Park Annual Pass at the moment is only £51.50, which I think is a ridiculously low price if one can make use of it more than two times in a year. As my current pass doesn't expire until June next year, and suspecting the price may go higher again, I contacted the TP office to establish that If one pays online and picks it up at the park, it starts on the day of collection, if one has it delivered it starts on the day of purchase. I will be buying mine this weekend and it will start after mid-June next year. https://www.thorpepark.com/tickets-passes/annual-passes/#

I live very close to TP and only generally visit one other Merlin location each year, so I have a Thorpe Park Annual Pass. I've moaned enough recently, that return day tickets have been given out for free a lot, and groaned that the Annual Pass had been offered to day ticket holders at low prices, I have just received an email. The Offer....... TP Annual Pass for £25, that is crazy, and yes I have purchased it. I heard from management yesterday that they are reducing the amount of "fast-tracks" issued after a breakdown.

Thorpe Park have released another live band performance in the dome, Anttix. This is a free event included in the ticket (I'm assuming this apply's to Annual Pass holders as well). Whilst I'm sure I'm not the only one who has never heard of this band (or single player judging by one the videos I have watched. On stage 4pm - 6pm. This is one of the tracks he(they) play: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kk2pxAAgJSc

I’ve planned to come to Thorpe Park but all of my friends ditched me the last minute. I really can’t bear spending Halloween without doing anything scary... I’ve read posts about people going there by themselves and it’s gonna turn out so bad. Please reply if anyone’s going by themselves today!!!

So, you've never ridden a coaster before, and you find yourself at Thorpe Park Resort in the heart of England. The thought of fast speeds, steep drops and loops scare you? Well, here's a list of all the coasters at Thorpe that are good to start off with. First up, we have the cult classic, The Flying Fish. It's a mini steel coaster that goes a whopping 16 mph. It is the calmest coaster at Thorpe but an og classic, getting around a 35-minute queue most weekends, occasionally going up to an hour. After you've conquered the mighty flying fish, you are ready to move onto bigger attractions. I am excluding walking dead the ride, because it is more of a…

I'm not talking about any of the soundtracks here. I mean the noises which the rides and coasters actually make.I have noticed as I walk round the park, that the attractions make some great noises which really do remind me of the park, and I have so many times refered to Thorpe Park's rides outside the park. For Example, the other day I was in a mates car and his brakes were making a noise just the same as Samurai powering up and down in the ride cycle and I loved it so much Some of my personal favourites are:- Nemesis Inferno pulling out of the station and that clonking noise which I "think" is made by each of the set wheels passing onto another section of the track.- …
