    Rameses Revenge

Bye Rameses. In your time you were truly one of the greats. I've some amazing memories of this ride whether it was the snakes on the sides of the supports and those red restraints or its retheme and my first ride in 2000 to that time when I rode you over and over again for an hour. Even working on this ride as an attendant was a special memory. Only nostalgia will really play its part as I don't think I'd ridden it for at least a decade.

  3. It's almost as if they are putting guest satisfaction and therefore reputation over pound notes, now there's a novel idea.

    Thorpe Park 2020

It's simply the return of X. Goodbye Walking Dead. In all seriousness I don't think it means anything, just merely pointing out the countdown to 2020 has begun. I expect similar events to last year, maybe something new.

Never thought this would get published, thanks for posting it! Wish it was still an option to use on the ride, thought they'd done a suburb job of it.

  6. I believe capacity is around 6,000 a night, a nice level to control lines and flow of park guests meaning most have a high level of satisfaction on leaving.

  8. This. An absolutely ridiculous chunk of theming for what is a seasonal attraction. Incredible, and shows how seriously Tulleys are taking the event going forward. I don't recall them selling out ticket-wise as many times as they did this year vs. previous years, which is good to see. From what I've seen at the event, fasttrack tickets are not oversold either, and I know that they are particularly strict on their VIP tickets - which is why every year I've gone, I've not questioned buying them one jot. My only negative really for this year, was The Wreckoning - the UV corridoor with foam swords etc on the wall looked very amateur when you have a probably world class attraction like Wastelands next door. Hopefully they'll work on this maze a bit more for 2020 as it felt rushed in parts. Wonder if there'll be a new haunt? I personally think that VIXI's days are numbered. Coven, Cottage & Cellar remain strong.

    2019 Season

Legally, there's nothing the police can do. The guys in the video visited the park legitimately (they had valid tickets). At no point did they 'trespass' or 'intrude'. At no point did any member of staff ask the guys to leave. They didn't refuse to leave. They've bent the park's own rules, and that's all there is to it. The police cannot do anything, so all they can say is 'not our problem let them go'.

    Thorpe Park 2020

MY SOURCES ARE TELLING ME THE RMC IS COMING!! They tell me Nick Varney and Alan Schilke had a nice romantic dinner (Alan paying ofcourse....obviously) over the matter and now we are most certainly getting that RMC on the loggers leap site in 2020!! This will be accompanied by the following. 1) Tidal Waves fireball returning 2) Colossus having a full paint job 3) Samurai being replaced by a new model 4) THE TOP SPIN!! 5) BIG TOP AND ASYLUM RETURNING FOR FRIGHT NIGHTS 6) Slammer finally being removed 7) Stricter requirements to get a RAP 8) Thorpe Park finally altering the wind policy so they don’t stop the rides if someone so much as farts near the wind censors 9) The car park being sorted so one does not need to sit there in a standstill for over an hour to get out..... fastrack for the car park exit here we come!! 2020 is gonna be SICK!! * my source is called HP source by the way.
