Starting a conversation for the best ride documentaries you’ve seen. Great to discover new info on rides you even think you already know  and great to watch when there’s nothing on tv!

I wonder how many decades it'll take before we get a positive/fun/non dreary theme at Thorpe..

Can we get some colourful rides in the UK please. (Not that I like this orange particularly but its better then black, grey or white)

How have they finished a dark ride before a carousel?

I think most wouldn't have minded if this had replaced Storm Surge instead.

It looks so awful and dont get me started on the bleedin fences 

The ride looks out of place and just doesn't fit in with the surroundings. It shouldn't be in Old Town, I believe it would fit in better if it were put in Amity

It does look ridiculous, even more so in person! It's quite sad to see what was a nice little area of the park being destroyed. Sure, people will argue that things don't last forever and theme parks have to change sometimes...but this is just a mess. 

Imagine a theme park that didn't have run down theming with the excuse that its meant to be old/abandoned...

Hey, the fence for the ride completely matches the area....

That is just truly awful. What on earth were they thinking?

What on earth are they thinking?! It looks so out of place there, but would look completely natural next to fish, or tidal, or rumba, or pretty much anywhere else really. Are we supposed to see the word timber in the name and suddenly think it's a good match for the area, despite what our eyes tell us? 
 
With that wagon sitting there it's a nice bit of contrast where previously something as small as  place to sit was worth theming well, to today where it's fine not to bother with theming on a whole ride. Well done everyone.

It's more suited to Amity area, dunno why they put it there.

Surprised it wasn't picked up in testing

It still hasn't been perfect but has been more consistent the last two seasons, previous seasons it gave up by April/may and then was never sorted for the rest of season. At least they have managed to bother fixing it if it breaks the last few seasons.
 
The one that surprised me last year was the spinning blades beneath Saw: The Ride's drop. They worked faultlessly every season until last year, and I didn't see them work once in 2016.

Nothing like having a total stranger wedged between your legs!

Ugh, why do they have to go and slap the station music on everything? That piece is meant for a big sound hall, not tinny queue line speakers.
