  1. Pretty sure it was Slippery Serpent, I have no recollection of rides before then except I did Upperiecope, Carousel Kingdom, Flying Fish, Loggers Leap, Rail, Farm and Thunder River on that same visit.
  2. Olympia Munich Looping though is more than a cred, it's the creme de la crime of travelling coasters. Bar that and Wild Maus, the other coasters there are just creds.
  3. Ok, 2006 onwards, Nemesis Inferno RMC day's, Slippery Serpent Hope that's acceptable.
  4. Edited for accuracy, continue. I'm also very likely a yes now for this adventure.
  5. Couldn't find a topic so started on. Hong Kong Disneyland has always felt the small, overshadowed and forgotten Disney resort (though Paris is also debatable). However, this looks likely to change through a major new multi-year development scheme. One of the main main and most interesting parts of the scheme will see the Sleeping Beauty Castle, which will be transformed and aesthetically changed. Source-TDR Explorer The castle looks to adding to the castle rather than completely rebuilding. Still a first in Disney as this will be the first castle in park history to be extensively changed since opening. Hong Kong Disney will be receiving a brand new Frozen area with two attractions and the addition of a new area in Adventureland offering new daytime shows. Looks like the park is already thinking ahead considering Moana is their next Big Bang. The tommorowland area will also see the Buzz Lightyear attraction retheme into a Altman based attraction alongside a new major Avengers ride. It is doubtful whether the former will be near as controversial as a certain ride in DCA. Finally, an overview of where everything will be and where it is intended. The new Marvel Antman attraction and Adventureland show place look to open in 2018 The new castle and hub is targeted for 2019 Frozen area for 2020 The other new Marvel attraction is for 2023 I can certainly say this all sounds interesting and exciting. 6. 1/ That corkscrew on shockwave being ejected from my post was interesting, rest was forgettable. 2/ The lights flying up the lift hill on Temple In The Nighthawk, rest of the ride is forceless and repetitive. 3/ The indoor area of Saw 4/ That tight Helix on Kanonen. Controversially not a massive of the ride but there's much worse coasters.

    Logger's Leap

And the fate of Loggers has now officially been revealed. For 2017 at least anyway, but it was imminent. Source Theme Park Guide. Bash them all you like but I feel there are/were multiple reasons for this closure safety being one of them and given 2015 and their demographic audience (who would often stand up etc.) it was going to happen.
  8. Surely I'm not that desperate to win awards as I don't recall nominating myself to many or doing too much. That said, I'm down for forfeits on some.
  9. You guys are making this topic very cringey Excuse whilst I make another ride game to your delights
  10. My religion involves travelling around the world going on different journeys of different routes. Some are fast and others more relaxing to find the key to the universe. My religion is Themeparkism and it involves riding different rides and roller coasters through the world and beyond.
  11. To be honest, I'm not that happy either, that the park's old Carousel is being ditched for a new one that will probably be a lot more generic (even if they have different locations). The former Carousel was beautifully decorated with it's stunning murals of it's golden days of past which seem to be long gone now sadly. Least they are actually getting a new ride, even if it's just a Carousel.
  12. Latest construction pictures of the new Carousel that's coming to Chessington. Source-Merlin Annual Pass Holders Group. This could be kill or cure for them, so hopefully they will do it up nicely.
  13. Well there's one important thing we should all be aware of for Fright Nights 2017. It's happening next year, good night. Seriously though, I think Cabin is for the wood but we shall see.
  14. Does the Dragon at Legoland Windsor count? That ride was my childhood. Never was I so obsessed about a ride before like that one, from its majestic queue line and station, mysterious soundtrack amongst the combination of roller coaster and dark ride.
  15. All depends on the job and career front for me and probably won't best 2016. Abroad wise should hopefully be getting to Port Aventura (at long last) alongside a return visit to Efteling too as Symbolica is calling. An express trip to Asterix should also be on the cards and at least one trip to Disney will probably pop up too. Returns to Liseberg, Europa and/or Phantasialand are not impossible but we shall see. Anything else is very wishful thinking. UK wise, really want to nail down the Yorkshire lot and will probably visit all the Merlin lot again (regardless of what flaws may come). Blackpool and Oakwood are extra. Have no desire to return to Drayton, but not ruled out.
  16. Done and voted. Looks like I may have tasks if I win stuff this time.

    Logger's Leap

It means they don't want and need to show the public what they are doing as what happens with ride is upto them. Yes, because messaging a park requesting for photos of a restricted area is clearly going to happen.
  18. Yes, lets see Towers waste even more money on an expensive and temperamental selection of phone monitors. Personally I'd much rather they ditched the VR altogether and bring back Air. The station, portal and soundtrack can stay though as they're acceptable.
  19. In true ride game fashion: 1/ Swarm 2/ Inferno 3/ Stealth 4/ X 5/ Ghost Train 6/ Detonator 7/ Colossus 8/ Tidal Wave 9/ Slammer 10/ Rush 11/ Quantum 12/ Depth. Charge 13/ Rocky Express 14/ Rumba Rapids 15/ Saw 16/ Vortex 17/ MR a Monkey 18/ Dodgems 19/ Teacups 20/ Angry Birds 4D 21/ Flying Fish 22/ Samurai 23/ I'm a Celeb 24/ Zodiac 25/ Storm Surge You are all welcome.
  20. Double Post, but apparently it won't only be Python that will be receiving major updates next year but the Dutchman too. Apparently areas of the outdoor track are to be replaced due to wear and tear from the splash features. Full article can be seen here http://www.looopings.nl/weblog/6454/Opknapbeurt-voor-Vliegende-Hollander-Pagode-Sneeuwwitje-en-Draak-in-de-Efteling.html?coockie=accepted If that wasn't enough, the Gondola, lake boats and the Snow White and Dragon sections in Fairy Tale Forest are also receiving some excessive TLC. With the park turning 65 next year the park the park is certainly doing a great job with updates.
  21. Looks like Mack are now starting to take on the Premier/Maurer market. However in Mack style, they look to be onto another exceptional creation. Get one of these into a smaller UK park pronto!
  22. That looks Efteling amazing. A little reminscent of Plopsa's teacups and Mystic Manor but looks to retain the amazing park quality. As for the Python retracking, it feels a strange and excessive rule, considering how smooth it already is. But if Efteling are up for refurbing their classic ride, let them doing it! It's great how such a park looks after things new and old and doesn't really neglect anything (I'm saying nothing).

    Closed Season Part 1

Thsnks for the report. Denmark is certainly a place I strongly intend to visit for its culture (amongst it's parks). Particularly Tivoli, Billund Lego and Djurs. Only thing really putting me off is I've heard Copenhagen is really expensive and people spending over £100 for simple things in just a day. Call me guilty on 2/3 of the above.
