There's no way out of the boats without standing so it seems he's gone over the side while standing to disembark. I suppose whether he stood too early or if this accident was possible under normal off load procedure will determine if they have to make adjustments to the ride before re opening and if they might be held liable.

Nope. Opened today for 10 minutes then closed again for the rest of the day, pretty standard day on Loggers!

It was (the last time I did it at night many years ago) pitch black... It was also raining so heavily only my boat was loaded and it was the most terrifying ride experience I've had at Thorpe...

Got stuck at the bottom of the first lift hill for about 10 min, with 2 boats in front of us and another on the top of the lift hill. They then got the ride back up and running, so all the boats in front of us went to the next lift hill, except us, we got stuck at the top. There was 2 staff with us at the top telling us what was going on,we had to to to the next lift hill to get evacuated because you can't really jump out on that lift hill because the steps are too low. The water at this point stopped running to we had to wait till they got the water back on before we could go to the next lift hill. We were up there for about half an hour speaking to the staff at this point and everyone else had been evacuated, there was no boats behind us. An engineer came and got us down this lift hill. We then got to the second lift hill where there was a staff waiting for us, we then had to wait until they turned the water off again for us to jump out our boat because it would of rocked to much for us to get out. 5 mins after that we jumped out and walked down the old CCR track to the station where we got given free fast tracks. It was actually really fun and nice to be able speak to the staff for ages at the top, everyone was really friendly.

The restraints are all taken off now and the seats covered with plastic to protect them I guess?
Looking good that they've started Closed Season work early and that it will stay!

This was at the top of loggers leap when we broke down for about 30mins haha, he was a team leader so I'm pretty sure it's legit

Mist today was fantastic. When going through the volcano the mist and lights were on and couldn't actually see where I was going! Thumbs up to nemesis inferno! Saying that saws blades were broken however swarms fire was on

It's clear it can't handle being run on a decent setting as on FN preview night it was running one of the faster settings and what then happens? The thing breaks again. What's the betting it doesn't reopen at all between now and end of season?

Or possibly replacing the cables and gears for new ones...
Or even just starting winter maintenance and stripping the entire ride down now since it won't open this season...

Havent rode on the new boats, going to give it a go now though

Couldn't agree more, My favorite flat ride, and to be honest, it fits like the space that it's in perfectly, and it never has a que But Thorpe said they panned on getting it open on Fright nights, which they now say is very unlikely, So I'm pretty sure it'll open next year

^ Yup that is correct, although the weekend before, I attempted to press the button and nothing happened, then I got a bit over-excited and sort of broke a bit off the button On Saturday I found the button and just casually walked up to it expecting nothing but nearly poo'd myself when confetti blasted everywhere and this woman with a megaphone came up to me and asked if I would do a challenge - so yeah I had to find 20 people to conga behind me outside of Stealth and I just about managed it. Won a PS Vita (which I had never even heard of before), a medal, dr pepper t-shirt and a card thingy

When ever I've asked for effects, rumba, nemesis and this, they've always said its broken

Tbh they really need to focus on fixing the que time boards, or doing somthing to them because I don't think I've qued the time it says on the board. Once when the park was like empty, Saw said 60mins, me and my friend were going to walk of but I looked in the actual que, there wasn't even anyone inside, it was just walk on.

Yes I had this conversation with somebody on Saturday, all through that nice hot summer they were not working, but as soon as the temperature drops and it starts to rain they switch them on!

I was there today with a swarm queue stating 45 min queue so I bought a fast track got there and there was 4 people queuing in the main queue and the 30 min queue was after the fastrack queue. The girl told me to go back to the fastrack hut and ask for a refund as there was no queue at the normal entrance.
They happily gave me my £5 back and apologised!
Still misconception on queue times but at least they gave me a refund!

We have a dedicated role in the Park whose responsibility it is to check the queue times of each ride and update the boards to keep them as accurate as possible.
As Mccy correctly states, our Commercial team have no influence over the queue times, and we never state queue times inaccurately in order to inflate Fastrack sales.
We know the queue times are not always accurate, and it is something we are working very hard on to improve internally. We care about the experience our guests have on Park, and this is the reason for us trialling systems like Reserve 'n Ride which we hope to offer as a permanent solution in future.
We do our very best to keep queue times as accurate as possible, but sometimes technology lets us down, and queue times can change very quickly, when a ride temporarily closes down for example. So we will also very soon be launching a Queue Hotline, where people can text in and let us know if the times are inaccurate, so we can update the boards with the most up to the minute information.

Why haven't they fixed the music? The ride isn't even that old, they should get their ***** in gear and fix it!
It's been like that for ages now.
