Benin
To be fair, not much at Towers had a queue until Smiler opened
SteveJ
Terror of the Towers has had "vampires" for the last 4 years - they are referring to the cloaked, pale-faced actors in the strobe maze finale.
Fred
Indeed - ToTT is seemingly staying exactly the same. That video was the preshow played past two or so years. Carnival seemingly has a backstory for once, and Sanctuary sounds like it may update itself slightly now smilers open.
Kerfuffle
For The Smiler, I'd like to see some "advocates" roaming the queueline and correction block, with the usual marmalised smile on their faces!
stretchy
OK construction update for all you lovely Maniacs.Goal striker has been closed. So where to look. The Gates, I think. One min though. They seem to have added blackout cloth. We cant even look through the padlock holeBut nothing twarts Super Stretch. Using the power of my telescopic arms I present you The Other Side!OK we headed over to the park entrance to meet Coaster and wondered what the queue times were?So what else is being constructed? I hear you ask.Well over in Haunted Hollow we have thisAnd the Sanctuary Queue now has thisBy the way, Sanctuary looks reasonably complete.AN area of Fountain Square has been cordoned off.And they seem to be adding these:There are 3 of them in that areaand there is one of these to the left of itZombie looks untouched but Smiler seems to have caught a Tribble Coaster, pluk, Inferno and 2 others

swooddow
Right want to ask a question about the scare rooms to anyone who has experianced them. How do they get an actor in the bathroom , without you noticing , they then turn the tap on and someone is standing in the shower ! , how do they do that ?? jjh123horry
Right want to ask a question about the scare rooms to anyone who has experianced them. How do they get an actor in the bathroom , without you noticing , they then turn the tap on and someone is standing in the shower ! , how do they do that ?? Ipersonally havent had the chance to expeience it myself, but I have seen a video of the scare rooms, and usually about 5 minutes before the tap comes on, someone comes in/goes out through the door. At that same time, I think the actor who goes in the bathroom sneaks in past the actor going in or leaving, and because the lights turned off you generally dont notice the extra person coming in. Thats my theory, just from watching clips of it. This video is of last years, its pretty decent and really funny. Topsyturvy15
Scarefest looks good this year. One quick idea, with the maze line up the same this year could Towers be looking to go the same way as Thorpe with a revamp next year if Fright Nights are a success this year???? OldFarmerDean
Can 2 for 1 vouchers (which don't have blackout dates on the scarefest days) be used on the first week of the scarefest event, alternatively are Tesco clubcard vouchers allowed to be used on these events... And then can mazes be brought separately? Thanks
Fred
Read the terms of the vouchers, if it doesn't state you cannot use it (or the voucher is in date) then you can use it. Mazes can be bought on the day at any Sales & Information point.
stretchy
OK construction update for Scarefest. The cordoned off area in fountain square is open but there's 2 of these mini cordoned off areas:Inside is this. I think this will be mini cordoned off areas for lighting stacks.Lighting has now appeared before the TowersCarnival!More work is going on here There was a lot of banging from goalstrikerCloser look at those figures againAt the other side of those vans is thisand thisZombie!Well I didn't expect this! It seems the Zombie Scare Zone this year is the Zombie Xmas ZoneThere are LOTS of pressies for all (like death)Looking up past the bus we get more of the old style themingI walked round to the other side and was greeted by this. Towers really don't want people looking in, every hole is plugged.Except that hole at the bottom. When you photograph through it you get... WTF is THAT? It looks like its out of Mad Max!I need to get a vantage point on this I think. Oh Skyride, come hither!Ooh Pumpkins, I love Pumpkins.Oooh Army Tent. I love Army TentsAnd finally the speaker above sanctuary entrance that last week wasn't there, is back this week. noseyelephant, SteveJ and FrightNights04
Kerfuffle
Just wondering what time Duel converts into Skelvin's Haunted Adventure, as I might be going to Scarefest...
Coaster
Just wondering what time Duel converts into Skelvin's Haunted Adventure, as I might be going to Scarefest... They don't do that anymore, which is a shame really.

Benin
They have sponsored Halloween events before... Not exactly the end of the world... Hell, Thorpe have a sponsor this year... As for Skelvin, that was dire, bring back Duel Live's 2009 version! Kerfuffle
TPGG
Hiya, I'm planning on going on Sunday Nov 3rd, the last day of Scarefest. How busy is this day normally, and does anyone know if the schools go back the back after? Thanks guyz
stretchy
That day will probably be packed if previous years are anything to go by.

TPGG
That day will probably be packed if previous years are anything to go by. Yeah that's what I'm thinking! Reckon it be better to go on the Saturday or not much difference?
MattyMoo
I'm off on Tuesday 22nd, I'm hoping this day should be quiet - I don't think the schools are on half term at that point?
