October 9, 201311 yr comment_170231 yeah I don't mind either... but would be nice to see something for thrill seekers - but we know any new investments are going to have to have say a 1.2m height restriction or less and appeal not just to thrill seekers - although I seem to find these sort of rides a lot more enjoyable - we'll have to wait and see what the future brings

October 9, 201311 yr comment_170234 A Mack launch would suit the park perfectly as the park needs another 'large scale' coaster. As for the ride type itself, I hope the park go for a family thrill coaster I.e something that sets young thrillseekeers ready for the intense rides.
October 10, 201311 yr comment_170242 Well it looks rather certain that the rumours could have been true from this video, though I highly doubt the coaster will be next year, looking a mack launched hot wheels IP coaster http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eknlfg2W9NQ You mean the video that says 'UNOFFICIAL' at the very start?
October 10, 201311 yr comment_170260 You mean the video that says 'UNOFFICIAL' at the very start? Did I say it was definite anywhere in my comment? I beleive the words I used, and I'd hate to qoute myself were, "LOOKS RATHER certain"
October 10, 201311 yr comment_170295 So an unofficial video with plans of someone's own personal designs make it look certain Drayton are getting a Mack launched IP coaster? Nah...
October 10, 201311 yr comment_170300 So you're judging a fanmade video, which clearly states unofficial.. as "RATHER certain"? I like it.
October 10, 201311 yr comment_170301 God what is peoples problems I expressed an opinion on a forum, SHOCK HORROR, no need for the bitchiness attack! Besides the point the photograph seemed rather genuine to me reading the print and info and has been passed around several websites and there was a video somewhere of a backstage tour were a staff member initially revealed the hot wheels coaster concept, so it's not to far of a stretch
October 11, 201311 yr comment_170312 You didn't express an opinion, you rudely said 'can you read?' Very different. So don't expect a positive response.
October 11, 201311 yr comment_170316 Hopefully avoiding any misinterpretations of my comment, I will only say....... "There are currently no Planning Applications submitted for Drayton Manor save for a Garden Room extension to the hotel."
October 11, 201311 yr comment_170321 You didn't express an opinion, you rudely said 'can you read?' Very different. So don't expect a positive response. What do people expect when they're rude? Edited October 11, 201311 yr by Tommy there, their, and they're
October 11, 201311 yr comment_170324 You said that you thought it was real, even though in the face of the video you posted it said the word 'UNOFFICIAL' in big letters at the very beginning of it... I felt it prudent to point out your mistake and not get your hopes up as there has been no official confirmation from the park in regards to getting a new coaster in the near future beyond the odd "We hope to do so"... If it's rude to point out quite simply that you were incorrect to assume the plans made it look certain Drayton were getting a Hot Wheels Mack Launched coaster, then I'm rude... Finally, it's "people expect when THEY'RE rude", just for pedantry...
October 11, 201311 yr comment_170350 Can we get back on topic please.. Probably not.. Anyway Drayton Manor have done great considering they're not owned by a company with millions of pounds at their disposal and only have around £11m company net worth compared to £100's million net worth for a company like Merlin.
October 11, 201311 yr comment_170351 Tbh like most themeparks next year I doubt there will be any coasters, but sure in the near future we will see something nice in drayton
October 25, 201311 yr comment_171158 I'm finally going to Drayton Manor for their fireworks event on Saturday 2nd November!Never been before, so looking forward to it.
November 3, 201311 yr comment_171614 I really enjoyed the day I spent here on Saturday 2nd November. The park was open until 9pm as it was their fireworks event, and we got plenty of rides on everything! - G-Force was much enjoyed by us. Despite all the negative reviews we really enjoyed it, especially the hangtime on the first lift-hill (provided that you don't crush yourself with the restraint). The restraints did tighten throughout the ride, but that was our only niggle. It was nice to have inversions without OTSR's! - We also enjoyed Shockwave, as it was quite forceful in places and didn't have a very big queue. - Apocalypse was also very good - my favourite drop tower. RIDECOUNT: Shockwave x8 G-Force x7 Apocalypse x5 (Was planning to hammer this in the last hour but it closed due to wind ) Pirate Adventure x2 Stormforce 10 x1 Splash Canyon Rapids x1 Maelstrom x1 Pandemonium x1 Ben 10 x1 Golden Nugget Shoot Out x1 The Haunting x1 The park was coping well with crowds and queue times were not bad at all. Operations at the park were much better than those experienced at Towers! The fireworks were also very nice.
November 4, 201311 yr comment_171679 also went yesterday, and had a great time with very little queues... although would comment on how bad the operations on maelstrom were, just took forever to get people off and on! you could see a lot of effort was put into the event and fireworks, well worth the visit and to get to ride the rides in the dark : -)
November 9, 201311 yr comment_171896 Wasn't they meant to get this It was planned for 2013 in the black revolver site, clearly it didn't happen but will it. I think there's no point in this ride since they already have pandemonium.
November 9, 201311 yr comment_171899 I highly doubt it was every planned considering it looks like it takes 2 people.... but is completely different to pandemonium though. I doubt we'll see anything new for next year... although a new flat ride is needed, preferably high in thrills, but with drayton manor will end up being less than a 1.4m height and appeals to families - so think that's the end of major thrills at drayton manor,
November 9, 201311 yr comment_171906 Seats 4 per plane, and I would love to see one built outside of Copenhagen, but throughput would be a major issue for a 'normal' ticket park... If only Mingoland stopped buying Zamperlas...
November 15, 201311 yr comment_172030 Wasn't an Air Race planned for the Black Revolver site? Either way, they blew their budget on that monorail thing for Thomasland, and I'm not sure what the situation is with this proposed second hotel.

They shouldn't have gotten rid of Black Revolver - who can go wrong with a waltzer in the dark?
November 15, 201311 yr comment_172032 Unfortunately I never got to ride it, but Black Revolver sounded like one awesome ride <3
