Gemma
I had to see this for myself. I'm slowly growing accustom to being chubby and then BAM some skinny girl on a fashion website stabs me with her ribs. Lovely. I'm emailing customer services, I want to see what they have to say for themselves.Looking at this again, I have a feeling it's muscle? Opinions? I'll email in if you guys think it's her ribs.Same it's like yeah, you know maybe I'm actually happy with being a little bit curvier and then you see a really skinny flat chested twig and you're like :| I'm guessing this isn't what people want.At first I had to do a double take but because her legs are so skinny as well I think it is ribs. AdamY
It is ribs. My history looks a little weird now!
Mer
Slightly harsh?I was only joking :PAs for the skinny girls thing, being able to see ribs isn't normal!! That's underweight and ugly. Being curvy is not ugly.
Ellie
Okay, I've emailed them. I'll let you know when/if I get a reply.
Pickles
I totally agree with you guys, thats getting a tad ridiculous if you think we have all the celebrities and stuff influencing us and now clothes websites? I'm surprised they don't just stick a poster up saying look like this!
Gemma
Right, this is really confusing and I think I'm being a bit thick but could someone else check this for me?On Jane Norman's website look at their 'tops' section. Am I the only one who thinks their all pulled in at the waist on purpose? Surely not every single top they sell would go in that much at the waist? Looking at them they've got to be showing pictures of them in the smallest size which I'm led to believe is a size 6. http://www.janenorman.co.uk/fcp/categorylist/item/tops?resultPage=1Unbelievable. It's not the first time I've noticed it either.
Ellie
That's really creepy. I know many skinny people but nobody I know has a waist like that The tops are probably stretchy, most look it. They're likely pinned at the back to fit the model so that you can get an idea of how it would fit without anything draping? But the mannequin still has a creepily small waist. Ellie
Double post. Ha.RIIIIIIGHT. I hate, in exams, little noises. They distract me so much that I can't think of anything else but them. Today, in my 2 hour drama exam some stupid invigilator had high heels on (this is the one I've had an encounter with before). I politely asked her: could you please take your high heels off, they're very distracting. The b!tch rolled her eyes and scoffed then walked off. EXCUSE ME, B!TCHFACE, I THINK YOU'LL FIND I'M IN AN EXAM. SILENCE IS REQUIRED. I was so tempted to stand up, pull the heels off her feet and hit her in the head with them. Who does she think she is?! It's not like I was rude at all. Some people do annoy me. *breathes* rant over.
Mer
They have a written exam for Drama now?! When I did my GCSE (2006) we had our performance and the coursework, the performance counted for 40% of the grade, the coursework was 60%.And yeah, I hated noise in exams, such as people coughing like sealions and then sniffing up all the phlegm down into their throat. Ugh!

Ugh!Lol, that's gross. Yea, we had two performances, a piece of coursework and a written exam, though I couldn't tell you the percentages for each. They have the most ridiculous questions that range from a 2 mark 'Who is __' question to a 20 mark 'You are to play __ in the performance. Explain how you would do this'. A very long, boring exam. Definitely the worst I've taken.

Ellie
Right, guys. I've had an email back from Boohoo and they've actually looked into it really well. Below is their response to my email and they also sent me other photos of the model which I will post too.Hi Ellie,Thank you for your email into Customer Services.I have been liasing with other departments regarding the model in question, as we wouldn’t accept extremely thin girls to be the image of Boohoo.com, and we do ensure that all models promote a healthy body image. With regards to the model in question, she is a UK dress size 8/10 and the pose used in the shot mentioned below means that, as would happen with other size 8 girls, her ribs are showing. Although the model has now changed, I think the photos attached are the same model during the same 3 day photo shoot, which shows that she does infact look a healthy shape. We do thank you for your comments, and we welcome all concerns or queries from our customers.RegardsJanine FaullCustomer Services ManagerThis is the image I emailed them about:And the images they sent me of the same model:It's nice to know that she's healthy and I'm glad they put the effort to look into it. Mark9
I'm a bit fed up of football to be honest. Particularly England fans who jump about from "we're the best" to "we're the worst" and back again within a few days. It means sod nothing. And yet all over BBC news it's how England won one match out of three. Jesus Christ, they don't deserve any praise as they got through by the skin of their teeth. The real winners today are playing a tennis match, carried over from yesterday, that has gone on for over 8 and a half hours.Currently it's two set points each and 50 points each. Thats real passion there, not 22 players randomly kicking a ball around for 90 minutes.
Lordcutter6
So true, I can't beleive how much energy they have to play this long

I also don't see why we're the best team in the world and now we can take on the Germans by a virtue of failing to beat USA, failing to beat Algeria, and scraping a 1-0 against Slovenia... I also hate how some people use the war as an argument as to why we're going to beat Germany in the Second Round.

Paul
I hate it when relationships are broken up by one side because of the reason that 'the other person is too clingy'. They're too clingy for a reason, you're perfect and they never want to let you go. Have complete honesty in the relationship. Tell them that you think they're a bit too clingy, and if they love you as much as it may suggest, they'll do what they can to change and make things better for you. Just don't go out with someone and decide to end an otherwise good relationship because of that. It's a stupid reason.
Will
This July I'm going to be 21 and I'm dreading that day. I'm going to be 21 and I would have just started uni (In sept) and I've friends that have been in relationships and have had intercourse and I haven't been in a relationship ever and haven't ever had 'you know what'. I'm embarrased to talk about it and I feel inadequate and insecure, talking about this. I thought I would talk about it here because it's with you guys that I feel comfortable. I'm not a good-looking guy and I wake up in the morning hating the way I look and wishing I was better looking. I have this Aspergers / Mild Autism and find it hard to communicate and socialise and to make friends and I can be annoying. I'm jealous of people who don't have the problem that I do and how better their lives are and I hate it, when people don't appreciate how well-off they are.I just hate the way I am and if I could change me, I would. I don't know how to move on or how to become a better person. I just wish I had the self-esteem, confidence and the power to move forward and improve these imperfections. If anyone had some thoughts, I'd be grateful. Kevin
So lets think of a situation here.. Question 1: You've inserted your penis into a woman.Discuss how this changes you physically, mentally or personally. It does not, in other words 'it's no biggie'. Sex/Relationships is something you shouldn't really rush into because you can simply regret it... Don't worry about life... And if you're off to uni think of it as a fresh start for you... Don't bother trying to get stuff done before uni, rather just get prepared for it so you'll feel more comfortable there in the new environment... One simple new thing can easily change your life...
