Phill
I'm not necessarily suggesting that it would be re themed to blood and gore, which is why I said broaden your minds! There are other options. Example, the outbacks of Texas (since we love our Dolly), that way it doesn't have to be restricted to Wild West, but can still have that same feel. Gareth
who cares if jigsaw is on the queue line video systems?for all we know this could be temporary, and two years time, the whole SAW: THE RIDE thing will be dismissed, and all traces of jigsaw will be removed, thus making it: "SAW""As long as the first drop is into a pool of needles! God that would be immense!!!!!!!!"I can see it now: a headchopper coated in needles, and around the track after it, needles needles needles!!! Tom
Nobody was expecting this!!You can't even say you thought it might be!! ask Phillip, I guessed the name 2 days ago.Saw the ride? Sorry, is this a blunt pisstake? A coaster that looking pretty insane has just been thrown out of the window, with a pisspoor storyline; what happened to originality like Nemesis, or Oblivion? Sponsorship of a ride does screw a ride up to get marketing across, such as Bubbleworks, but this is just the next level. Jesus christ.. Yep.I like the idea of Saw and stuff [please note not SAW], erm.. I haven't seen the films... I hope that's not a problem on the ride, like not 'getting it' and being like LOLWUT.Saw - The Ride, 2009Tom's Bedroom - The ride, 2010 (Based on the successful porn films kthnx.) Sidders
I'd like it if there was a buzzsaw (round serated blade) underneath the Zero-G Roll, so that you could see it, obviously. You'd come screaming round the corner and get rotated round so your head is in the position to be cut off., (but you narrowly miss because H&S will shut it down if someone is deliberately killed)GOD! H&S is always over-acting! Even the smallest thing... >:)Ooo, what fun

It would be cool though - maybe have it under a wire mesh (with blood splatter of course!)

Phyciodes
Mmm... not too sure about the name, seems pretty un- original. Seen a couple of the films and thought they were pretty good But basing a ride on a horror film is a completely new level. I am clueless as to what to expect from the themeing, and am looking forward to what thorpe manage to pull off. From reading various articles they obviously have very high hopes about the ride and its themeing, and I'm not certain as to whether the final result will meet there expectations. but only time will tell. Saw- The rides homepage looks very impressive, I like the little nemesis seat covered in blood.
JoshC.
Amazing! So then, it seems as if this 'unknown individual' was the person tied up in the chair). If you look at his back before the TV comes on, you see the blood stains like in the other two videos. However, I'm interested in a couple of things. How does the key found in the box fit in with the SAW theme? In last month's video, 'he' flashes when Peter says: "The source is currently unknown". But why him, why would he booby trap the box? Samurai retheme, if it happens, would it be possible one of the SAW traps is the theme of it and the name has something to do with Jigsaw?Although this ride was referred to as Canada Creek coaster, COULD a new area be installed themed around SAW, or a CC retheme? Also, great the ride's trailers are continuing! Gareth
thorpe are becoming very dark now, and are seperating themselves greatly between family audiences and thrill junkies.lets just hope it works out in the long run...
rollerross11
How does the key found in the box fit in with the SAW theme?More trailers could say.But normally jigsaw traps involve a key.In last month's video, 'he' flashes when Peter says: "The source is currently unknown". But why him, why would he booby trap the box?Jigsaw probably Also, great the ride's trailers are continuing! All the way till march
Sidders
Although this ride was referred to as Canada Creek coaster, COULD a new area be installed themed around SAW, or a CC retheme?Well, the island is really only big anough for SAW. So why have a completely separate island for with a new name and theme, with only one ride on it?I don't think that Samruai will be re-themed into anything to do with the SAW films, just a simpler sawmill-type theme, movie calaborration really only works with roller coasters. Phill
The keys fits in with Saw, because in the films keys are used to unlock the traps set on them. One scene the key is hidden in the stomach of a friend, and he has to rip him open alive to get the key, to save himself.
Cjw
Not to mention the one involving the key behind someone's eye.If you go onto the experience saw section you'll see that more videos are coming. Right up to march by the looks of it.
Ellie
Wow, the re-theme of CC is a pretty hot topic. I'd quite like a re-theme! I think it'd be much better!! YAY,, so glad they're doing the competition!! I entered the stealth one but was unsuccesful. I hope I have better luck this time! I wonder what they'll do with the ride for next years fright night! Any ideas?...

jason10
I don't really understand why people are complaining over the theme or the ride! The name is a name and doesn't reflect or decide the quality of the ride or themeing. It's a name, no more or less than something to identify it from so you don't end up saying 'that black one' or something. I for one am loving the ride idea and theme! The creepy atmosphere and horror theme will really add a new dimension to the world of rides and coasters! If done well, the themeing and atmosphere will work! I just had a thought, this opens up a HUGE oppertunity for Fright Nights! Live actors. Oh, that would be so cool! I for one am really optomistic about it! Bring it on - SAW (HA!) - The Ride!
