Stokesyboy
OMG, I am speechless. What a cheap and horrible sponsorship. That sign looks absolute rubbish and I hope stealth does not get sponsorship from yorkie as it would probably ruin the reputation of the ride
TimR
They have been doing alot of stuff with Yorkie recently, if you look on the back of the map, it says who they are associated with and Yorkie is on there, also in the shops around the park Yorkies are BOG OFF, so this could be sign of full sponsorship. TPAddict
I'd need more pictures to believe that that Yorkie/Stealth banner isnt photoshopped
Ryan
I'd need more pictures to believe that that Yorkie/Stealth banner isnt photoshoppedI went on Saturday and I can safely say, it has not been photoshopped.

TPAddict
Why would people make it up...Because its the beginning of April and was a possible April fool. But unfortunately I'm convinced/// URGH! Such a crap idea, "Are you man enough?" Just makes me cringe.Thing is right, wasn't Air sponsered by Cadbury Heroes? That didn't/doesn't have any sponsership anywhere on the ride or trains, does it? So,,, grrr *breathes again
James
Air's logo said Miniture Heroes on it :blink:And yes it would be brilliant if we were making it up but unfortunatly we're not, and those pics were the day after April Fools. TimR
Also I don't think Thorpe know how much we hate sponsorships.
James
Oh they know full well how much we hate them. Sponserships are all about them getting any extra cash in their pocket they can, not what we think of them.
TimR
Suppose, IMO sponsorships make the ride and theming look tacky.
James
It could be a lot worse.Example - http://themeuk.net/chessington/Bubble15.jpg'nuff said.
Johnny07
*shiver* It must be something about that side of the park. Rumba, Tidal and now Stealth
Paul
Suppose, IMO sponsorships make the ride and theming look tacky.I agree. Although, the only sponsership I did actually like was Ribena for Rumba Rapids. I think the idea of currents and the various parts of theming that were added did add to the ride experience. Also, it was suited very well to the Calypso theme in my opinion. Back on topic now .
Woodrow
Apologies for going off topic, but has the tidal wave original source sponsership gone?

Todge
You say its gone, but I still see original source plonked all around tidal wave.
Paul
You say its gone, but I still see original source plonked all around tidal wave. The sponsership contract has officially ended, although there are still various clues around the ride that would suggest otherwise. If you look on the bridge railings, the Original Source sign has been removed, and the Original Source logo has been removed from the splash zone. TPAddict
Well tbh, if they need a sponsership financially then they gotta go with anything really
Theme Park bloke
I'd need more pictures to believe that that Yorkie/Stealth banner isnt photoshoppedGo and ride Stealth then.Thorpe are probably trying to get everyone to ride Saw. In other words, as the old slogan went: Yorkie, it's not for girls. So Stealth isn't for girls (weak people), so go and ride Saw, e.g Thorpe's brand new rollercoaster that keeps on shutting down! Todge
also, I noticed a few days ago is that they put sponsors on the back of the seats too. One of them said "whats hard, fast and goes up in seconds" something like that and I couldnt stop laughing.
StevenVig
Would explain why they used the 3rd train last sunday.

Lordcutter6
Thorpe's brand new rollercoaster that keeps on shutting down!Actually, I don't think it has broken down completely all half term, just the odd hickups
zkk
The stickers on the back of the seats are a little tacky but by the end of the day most of them had been ripped off. On the positive side though the stickers are tiny and only visible if your actually in the seat. Thank god the car hasn't been repainted blue etc. A Yorkie Stealth would really suck
Ryan
Have any of you actually done the Yorkie challenge on your mobile, if so what is it?
