Benin
Plans are up... Looks horrid tbh...Plus turning the entire area into a sea of logs? I'd rather have the Monkey Kingdom thanks...
Mark9
All I can do is Laugh. Thorpe get 20 million for a new rollercoaster and Chessington gets Wild Asia left overs. If you can't be arsed Merlin sell the park on or close it.Jesus Christ.
Fred
I think a show does add to the infrastructure and families, but ride investment really does need to come about NOW.If the show is done well, like mingolands, then we're onto a winner and money well spent. Chances of it being so though?

No one is expecting a show on the scale of Fantasmic or Thorpe blows **** up, so to sell 2012 on the back of a stage is ludicrous at best. Benin
Plus, you'd imagine that for an anniversary such as the 25th, they'd be able to think of SOMETHING major to add to the park?
Topsyturvy15
Isnt the rodeo area a bit small for the jumbos? Also how do the jumbos fit in with the mine train :s

thorpeparkjack
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IDA7MznRt_YA weak video, but I think the event looks pretty tidy this year, especially with the addition of the Reindeer and Bubbleworks/Seastorm. Graw
I never normally find myself going to Chessie alot at all, mainly due to my younger brother who prefers Alton, but when we don't have enough to get to the towers (its far too expensive), we always come here, I'm not sure why but he finds Adventure Island too childish, he's braver than me on some stuff despite being to small to go on the rides but yeah, I do love Chessington and appreciate it for all its wonderful theming, I wish I could go there more often! Its a bit like a guilty pleasure
StevenVig
Has anybody noticed that the 2012 Season ends on the 30th September!?
Mattgwise
I would imagine it is just that they haven't confirmed the dates for October just yet. I can't imagine it being closed. Maybe they are in the process of changing the halloween event slightly seeing as the event isn't mentioned on the website yet.
Saz
Hopefully it's not a cost saving measure or anything stupid like that...
Mitchada04
Halloween Hocus Pocus is Chessies best event. If this has been scrapped due to budget cuts Merlin should be ashamed.
thorpeparkjack
Maybe it is to do with construction for that Safari Ride?

Fred
Park will be open - October Half term is one of the busiest times of the entire season - plus their staff are working til November anyway.
Kevin
Jesus christ if that happened I'd have lost total faith in CWoAR.Oh no wait - I lost total faith when they sacked every good manager that park had and installed a load of LegoLand managers; and stopped investing in the park. And NOW look where that's got them! Haha! Will
th13teen
I am looking forward to the AP day this year, I have not done one before at Chessington, I was invited to the Wild Asia Media day however I had school commitments, So it will be nice to experience the ambience and enjoyment of the day, of which Thorpe Park sorely misses due to its main clientele. Mitchada04
I'm also going to this years AP day. After the chaos of the previous events I'm glad merlin have opted for a pre book system as the park can be prepared for a certain amount of numbers and run rides with the necessary amount of cars. Should be a good event and can't wait to attend. rainbowman12 and hyperdyper2011
AJ
I'm looking forward to the AP at Chessington next month - Whenever I do go Chessie it always ends up being a relaxed and enjoyable day - You don't go Chessie for the thrills you go for the pure fun of it.I am positive that this event is going to end up really good as Chessington usually run the park IMO quite well. rainbowman12
