'G'
SAW: The Ride isn't very good. The inside bit is really boring and the loop the loop inside is rough and hurts my shoulders. The drop isn't really anything special but the rest of the coaster is really fun and smooth because there is only one car on the track. There is more then just one car on the track, even on a bad day.
James6
I'm very very sorry but this doesn't make sense, does it to anyone else."The reason Saw is smooth is because there's only one car on the track..."First of all Saw is renowned for being "Bumpy" and how can it be "smooth" if it's "rough" and "hurts your neck."The inside bit is also thought of as the best bit of the ride with the outside bit being quite unoriginal.I think I'm going to stop there... 'G'
You have clearly missunderstood me, when I said, "only one car on the track.", I meant there is only one car instead of Nemesis' 8 cars per train.
Mark9
If you're playing with words, Saw technically has two cars on the.. erm... cars..
James6
To be honest I understood you, what I didn't understand is how that , in your opinion, makes it smooth. Nemesis Inferno is one of the smoothest coaster's around, with 7 cars/rows per train...

I thought for a while 'what ride has he been riding?' but I think that he means the corkscrew when you are exiting the warehouse and going to the lift hill. Puzzled me for a while though

Harry.D.C
You know what I mean I feel stupid now I'm more of, enjoy the ride type rather than what make they are and what part there is, cobra roll is about my limit!
Daniel
Anyone know what was up with Saw today? The spikes flashing on the first drop where delayed as was the air and UV light used to highlight the 'guns' shooting air at us. The UV lights came on half way when we were already into that 'scene'. Also where the barrel roll is located and the 'man' screams, and then water is squirted at the riders. This whole thing happened too early. We had just come off of the indoor block break and down the small drop and the 'man' had already started to scream and then as we were just about to go over the body, I saw that it had already started squirting the water. When billy comes on the screen just before the lift hill, I noticed when came round the small corner that the 'Game Over' spiel had already started playing.I could not even feel the air from the 'guns' today. These effects need to be in time with the ride really not to early/late. Saw is still having the same problems which I mentioned above, and the BOSE speaker just above the second car in the station is not working. The queue line TV's however where louder today. Ricky
SAW: the ride is in serious delay still, however the queue line TV's have been fixed! Only the exit TV's are now down, also today the spinning blades were either not turned on OR broken.
rossafc
Yeah, I noticed that aswell :blink:It broke down twice within about 5-10 mins aswell today, around 4pm.
Ricky
Oh dear, I noticed 2 breakdowns, one was around 12ish in the morning and the other was around
themeparkmad
It is going to be interesting during Fright Nights.SAW: The Ride comes alive. How can a ride come alive if it is unavailable? :blink:Reliability wise, SAW: The Ride is not really a good choice to do an event on during Fright Nights. Ricky
In terms of reliability its doing 50 times better then it was earlier on in the year.

JoshC.
Does anyone know if SRQ is still in use or not? I've heard about how it is sometimes used if you queue up in the Fastrack queue line? Is this true?Cheers in advance.
thorpeparkjack
It was last sunday, however it was not advertised. This was a disadvantage as I queued for 45 minutes to realise I could of walked on. However it is advantageous as nobody knows about it and you can get lots of rides in! Sebastian96
It was yesterday and I was apparently the only person who used it.
JoshC.
SO use the Fastrack queue basically?
thorpey
did grustleur(not sure how to spell it) get the through put higher? No they didnt. All of the new programs and updates were installed, only to cause the ride to fail a safety test (although I'm not sure what type of test exactly). The programs were therefore all deleted and the ride was put back on the original settings.
tpman
How buisy do you think the SRQ will be on Fright Nights?
