  • It has been confirmed that Alton Towers fans will be closed-minded for the duration of the season.

  • I asked Thorpe on social media if they plan to open Nemesis Inferno at midday for synergy across the brand

  • Maybe they could even go one further and make a whole theme park themed around Lego!

Looks like this year I will be going to Alton on the 31st October through to the 2nd November to therefore take advantage of both scarefest and fireworks! That causes a dilema because I always do something big for halloween, yet maybe I should just let the fans wanting more? Go off an enjoy fireworks instead!!!

Do we have any idea what make the 'Ice Age 4D' will be?Considering all previous 4D attractions have been standard glasses with a projected screen, I was wondering whether the attraction will have higher technology and actually have 3D more in the way of the Current 3D TV's do?I understand the expense of this however it creates a far better expereince and would therefore indicate a progression into the current world of technology!

Stayed in Splash on monday night. My god, the hotels have improved considerably over the past few years. They're now absolutely astounding to be in - I'm incredibly impressed with all the recent investments, and both hotels now have a real up-to-date solid feel about them - like your money has been well spent.Would recommend anyone wanting to stay at hotels to definitely do it this year. They're utterly fantastic.(Only problem is, now rest of the hotels are so amazing, my nitpicking has turned to how the freebies soaps etc should be individually hotel themed, not towers themed ).

I've been looking through some of the ride reviews on the AT website, wow, they are worded so wrong and some of the spelling mistakes are terrible! As I work in customer services and have to do comments for my company's website, we have to check all spelling mistakes and make sure it's worded well! You would expect AT to have had a look at it and correct the spelling mistakes!I've also emailed them and let them know! Wonder what they'll say... Probably nothing!

I was in conversation with Semantic over the same stuff about thorpe website years ago, and they stated they keep it the same because it's got a sense of realism about it. People who post cannot spell or cannot use grammar properly, and are usually overexcited and they like to just keep it like that.

When I first read these comments I thought you were on about the "official" content for the site, not comments made by the general public! Although I'd imagine the odd typo does occur. Spelling mistakes made by guests' reviews though makes it seem more personal and genuine, I can see why semantec have allowed it.
