April 14, 20169 yr comment_232395 Has certainly been an exciting day for ride tesiting so far. Mako looks great so far.
April 15, 20169 yr comment_232401 I see what Adam means when he says that "Seaworld don't even turn on the trims".
April 15, 20169 yr comment_232431 sorry about the double post...OMG THERE'S A POV!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
April 15, 20169 yr comment_232457 A small point, but what's with the awkward straight section in the dip after the first drop?
April 15, 20169 yr comment_232460 I have no idea, I always noticed that but didn't really care tbh. Nevertheless, this ride looks relentless. The mid course doesn't even looked switched on! Now I'm insanely excited for my visit this year!!!!!!!!!!!!!
April 15, 20169 yr comment_232465 Holy Guacamole... One day I am going to ride this, and a good day that will be.
April 15, 20169 yr comment_232467 Now I'm insanely excited for my visit this year!!!!!!!!!!!!! That's the first I've heard from it. Looks a fine ride and am sure it'll beat Silver Star.
April 16, 20169 yr comment_232483 That's the first I've heard from it. Looks a fine ride and am sure it'll beat Silver Star. Just will it beat Shambhala is the question...Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
April 16, 20169 yr comment_232488 Just will it beat Shambhala is the question... Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk Not to sound too presumptuous but I'm going to go out on a limb and say no it won't be better then Shambhala.
April 17, 20169 yr comment_232526 Looks a fine ride and am sure it'll beat Silver Star. Just will it beat Shambhala is the question...Us people who have ridden Silver Star, Shambhala and are going to be riding Mako, it's our duty to make the final judgement...Is Mako better than Silver Star? (Almost definitely) Is Mako a match to Shambhala? (We'll find out later this year) Remember nothing can be confirmed until it is open and we have ridden it.
April 17, 20169 yr comment_232531 Why does something have to be better or worse than another? Just judge it based on it's own aspects first, rather than with any expectations of comparison... That's for the post ride...
May 11, 20169 yr comment_234495 Mako had another media day yesterday because why not with one month till opening. This one was to talk about the rest of the "realm" and the queue/station for Mako Brian talking about the station effects. Some screen sequence will take place above and around you as you leave. It sounded quite cool. All 3 trains were out. Mandatory geek photo. And some "It's very pretty ain't it" shots
June 5, 20169 yr comment_235988 http://www.wildgravitytravels.com/mako-soft-opens-at-seaworld-orlando/ Mako soft opened on Thursday! Read a couple of reviews, watched some pov's, etc. It looks so good I would go and ride it next Friday... If I had money, plane tickets, park tickets, accommodation, transport :/ . I must wait patiently and stay calm...
June 5, 20169 yr comment_235989 It does look cool, seen a couple of people say it's killed by trims at one point though. Hopefully going to go test it out today.
June 5, 20169 yr comment_235991 It does look very good, but like Ryan said it does look like it hits that first trim pretty hard
June 5, 20169 yr comment_235995 Literally just soft opened and we're in Aquatica today. Will be ready and waiting tomorrow...
June 10, 20169 yr comment_236356 Mako is really fun! There's a little trim on the second half which kills it a little, but apart from this its great.
June 10, 20169 yr comment_236357 Very fun ride, worth waiting in the sun for it. Rates better than Silver Star imo!
June 10, 20169 yr comment_236366 It's really refreshing for some of the first riders to be not so over the top in their positivity. Thanks you two
