Altitude
Meh. The layout is neat and tidy but I agree it's as underwhelming as we expected! The scariest part looks to be that great big cattlepen down there.
Matt 236
It looks nice, but it's not quite Baron! Layouts a bit meh tbh, even OTBH's layout's more inspiring.
Mark9
I like it. Fits the bill for a Cedar Fair park and I really like the colour orange so extra points from me. EC!
EC!
Its actually brown and a white-grey colour, its just the 3d rendering makes it look more orange, anyway I agree with mark, I like it, no it isn't going be top 10 material anytime soon but its solid. Mark9
Looks like a great layout with some good elements, shame that Cedar Point does not care about themeing any further than the name and logo of the ride. They've never pretended otherwise. It's an amusement park, not a theme park.
Project LC
When I went the lack of themeing did nothing to my overall experience. They keep the place clean and entertaining. The cattle pens have tv with games and music to keep you from getting bored. They have so many coasters that queues are of a reasonable length even at the peak of summer. Its not like six flags where its tacky and full of sponsors and run poorly, its a nice place to be which is run well. This new ride will fit in nicely to their line up and I can't wait to ride it. Deleted Users
It has a corkscrew and the new restraints, what more do you want? Is it an inline I don't even know it looks great.
JoshC.
Looks fun. Nothing special, sure, and I prefer the look of themed dive machines (especially ones which drop into the ground), but it looks fun.
Charlesberg
Would've expected more theming and length for a Dive Coaster like this but it does look fun.
Altitude
Would've expected more theming and length for a Dive Coaster like this but it does look fun. Yeah Cedar Point don't do the theming thing! One reason why it isn't on my list of parks to visit!
Benin
It probably should be, if only so you can go there and say "This park is basically Thorpe but massive and without any restrictions"...
Project LC
Cedar point and Thorpe park are not exactly similar. They share a few ride types but when you have 16 coasters that tends to happen with almost every park. Thorpe is themed, CP is not. CP has great operations, Thorpe is hit and miss. If you love thrill rides then I would strongly recommend going there. If you go for immersion then the park isn't for you.
Altitude
I can see what Benin means. Big coasters, lack of good theming, same target audience, surrounded by water... The list goes on. The only coaster there that honestly appeals to me is Maverick. pognoi
Coaster
Personally I class theming as secondary to the quality of the ride when it comes to coasters, so I would quite like to visit Cedar Point one day. With that said, the dive coaster could have some water features such as a water skim which wouldn't be classed as theming. holtjammy16
CharlieN
So, today I discovered why my friends class me as a nerd: I spent an hour watching the live webcam of valravn to see if I could catch it testing. It didn't test, nothing moved, just the clouds. It's now that I realise that I have been staring at the equivalent of a photo for an hour - an hour that I shall never get back. CharlieN
My entertainment for the past hour... I have to say, this coaster does look very impressive. I can't wait for the floor to be sorted out because it's still a right mess!
Project LC
Often the live Webcam's get turned around to face gatekeeper and the carpark for a while for no reason according to cedar point. However the reason is most likely to be the ride testing.

Project LC
They completed the pull through a few days ago so testing won't be far off if it hasn't started. Cedar point being the park it is will have some sort of official video of testing soon. They like to build the hype train that way.
Tom
After all of this testing and spotting I'm surprised no-one has posted this CharlieN
CharlieN
If anyone has a VR headset I highly recommend getting the Valravn VR app. Of all the VR coasters on the market, this is clearly the most sophisticated and detailed. It provides numerous views of CP from the lift hill too.

Charlesberg
A POV has been released at last: Nothing too special as this looks like basically every dive coaster (except adding small zero g roll).
