What do people think on Alton Towers' Powered rollercoaster in Katanga Canyon, Runaway Mine Train! I've noticed that this ride has been getting increasingly popular recently, on my last 2 visits the queue has been out the entrance! It's definitely a winner against other Powered UK coasters, Runaway Train, Flying Fish and Buffalo Coaster are all pretty pathetic in comparison, and this ride is great for young children and thrillseekers alike! Also, I adore the theming! 8.5/10

Safari Skyway is a birds eye view of Chessington & Zoo.On Safari Skyway, you will start off your journey seeing Mexicana and going over the Children's Zoo.You will then come up to the Monkey and Bird garden, followed by the Penguin Cove and views of the Holiday Inn Chessington. Then you will see to your right (if facing forwards) the SEALIFE Centre. You will then go by the Main Entrance (North Admissions) and to your right, you will see Hocus Pocus Hall which is full of magical spells, a wizard and some very naughty goblins! Then you will come up to the the Trail of the Kings and the Sealion Bay.You will then be told about Vampire for little devils to try out their firs…

I could not believe that Black Buccaneer was not on the Chessington & Zoo section but now it is! :)I rode this in the middle after not riding in ages and to be honest; I felt a bit sick after it and was quite happy to get off of it!Then again, the operator did give us two rides, so if it was just one, I probably would have been fine! :PAnyway...Any stories to tell about Black Buccaneer?Any thoughts?Yea... You get the picture!

Just was reading on Towers Times and Alton's MTDP for the next 10 years has been revealed.I'm just going to quote a post on that site as I wouldn't be able to put it in my own words effectively. Personally this all sounds great to me It's a shame to hear Spinball Whizzer possibly leaving, Yes it has terrible throughput and sticks out like a sore thumb but it is a great little ride. Your thoughts ?

Extraordinary Golf at Alton Towers was a fantastic addition to the park back in 2007. I love it, and this is certainly one of the best-themed courses I've ever played on. I generally like mini golf.Which is your favourite hole? I'm still trying to decide. :PDiscuss Extraordinary Golf here.

Some friends and I are planning on travelling from London to Alton Towers in June, and I was wondering whether there were any tips anyone could give in terms of the cheapest way of getting there. So far the cheapest travel plan we've been able to come up with amounted to around £30, so if anyone could top that I'd be grateful.Cheers in advance!
