I have recently relocated to the tiny town of Kingsbridge in Devon and am wondering if anyone knows of, or can recommend any Halloween events or attractions in the county. I'm up for the full range from scare mazes to pumpkin patches and hayrides. Muchly appreciated!

So, just wondered what you guys think.Do you reckon it is best to not go into further education and go straight into work. Or do you feel that studying gives you a better option for the future. With rising tuition fee's etc. it's an interesting topic.I understand that obviously it depends on what you would like to do (jobwise) but yeah, general answers.

I just tried to telephone a family member for the call to be answered "there is a a fault with this line. Telephone 118820 to be connected by an engineer."I googled the number and it is a scam with which some people have been conned out of anything up to £15 a time. WATCH IT!I then rang the original number again and got through.

So I'm on the hunt for some new headphones and I'm wondering if anyone in here could help. My current headphones are the Sennheiser CX 3.00, while they're great I'm finding that when listening to music loud, the sound distorts, especially when there is more going on in a song. I'm ideally looking for some over-ear headphones in the £100 to £200 price range which have a good level of bass and still sound good when the volume is turned up. Wired or wireless doesn't matter but I prefer wired. Thank you to anyone who can help!

Surely there must be someone on here who watches Speedway? The British Speedway GP has just happened here in Cardiff at the Millenium Stadium for the 15th year in a row, won by Swede Antonio Lindback with Brit (and 2015 world champ) Tai Woffinden in 2nd. If you've never watched Speedway, here's a good example of a race. Chris "Bomber" Harris, who broke his nose in the Semi Final just before this, winning the 2007 British Grand Prix (he finished bottom this year with one point in total ) Basically there's 23 heats, 2 semis and one final in a Grand Prix meeting. Red Helmet = Starting Gate 1, Blue = Gate 2, White = Gate 3 and Yellow = Gate 4. 1st Place gets 3 …

So Time has released their shortlist for their choice of person of the year, where name the person who they believe impacted the news the most, be it positively or negatively. Who do you think will win/should win? Or, who do you think should be on the list who wasn't?

Alongside Theme Parks, the other thing that I love are G-Shocks - anyone else got any? Latest addition to my collection is the stealth black GA-2100 - got given it as a Christmas present from my girlfriend who had to get it imported from Italy as everywhere was sold out still! Screen can be hard to read at times but overall I love the look!

So recently after owning an iPhone for many years and it being the only smartphone experience I've ever known, I decided on switching to Android. The Huawei Mate 20 Pro and its rave previews so far have been compelling enough for me to make the switch. There's also a pre order offer of their new smartwatch and wireless charger added in for free too which has just sold me over the new iPhone XR at a similar price point to the Mate 20 Pro. I'm wondering if anyone else has made a similar switch and how easy they found it using a different operating system?

Hi guys. Television has been a huge part of society for many, many decades now; it's been around for far longer than I have, and many aspects of popular culture as we know it revolve around and/or were started by TV. A TV is viewed by many as an essential within the home these days, and at a guess, I'd say that the vast majority of people in the developed world at very least own a television. However, I've noticed a vast change in people's TV viewing habits within the last few years. The more traditional scheduled approach to TV watching seems to be decreasing in popularity, with streaming services like Netflix, Disney+ and Amazon Prime amongst others increasing…

I had the box on the other day, and there was a news item where the presenter was talking about theme parks opening up, and people in the picture had to be secured by another for safety, a ride in Legoland; I then heard a voice that I immediately recognized and they then showed the speaker and I was right. I used to work with the guy twenty-five years ago, and haven't seen or spoken with him since. Funny old world. I don't do facebook or similar, I'm a bit of a dinosaur, so the chances of getting a message to him are slim.

Well hello there! What a summer we are having! A year where we thought football was coming home to be out beaten by the fact that Love Island is coming to Thorpe Park! The sun is out beaming and there is no better time to once get back into the football spirit with the Premier League and Football Leagues seasons fast approaching. I have taken the leash off Ryan this year (literally) and am pleased to say that the Fantasy Football competition has renewed its contract and will be returning to TPM for 2018. With transfers galore, new teams raring to go in the Premiership, who do you think will be the best XI? And this year it is bigger and better than…

Simple question, simple poll - on average, how many of your recommended 5 fruit and vegetables would you say you get a day? For me, I normally eat about 3 or 4 pieces a day, though I've noticed since I've finished college, I'm eating a lot less healthily of late, so about 3 a day is right for me..

I met a chap at TP on Monday who told me that three years ago he endured "the walk of shame" (his words), by being unable to take a seat on Stealth due to being large. He went away and has shed five stones and is now going to start visiting TP and other parks more often as he is able to ride roller coasters. Proud of his achievement quite rightly, it must be quite distressing for those who cannot shift weight. Me? I'm a lucky so-and-so who has stayed the same weight since I was a yob, some years ago now. With respect to being the wrong size, it does annoy me that people with small children will queue and subject the ride hosts to being seen as "the…

After an interesting conversation in chat I thought I'd make this poll. So, do you worry about the chemicals in your food and drink? Do you perish at the thought of preservatives? Do you find additives abhorrent? Or do you knock back the e-numbers and aspartame without a care in the world?Discuss!

Border Force at Heathrow will be taking loads on over the next few months. When getting a job in the Civil Service or Border Force don't expect to be carrying out the job you joined for, but it opens the door to permanent good employment. https://www.civilservicejobs.service.gov.uk/csr/index.cgi?SID=b3duZXI9NTA3MDAwMCZqb2JsaXN0X3ZpZXdfdmFjPTE1MDA1MTEmcGFnZWNsYXNzPUpvYnMmb3duZXJ0eXBlPWZhaXImdXNlcnNlYXJjaGNvbnRleHQ9MjIzOTI3NDQmc2VhcmNoX3NsaWNlX2N1cnJlbnQ9MSZwYWdlYWN0aW9uPXZpZXd2YWNieWpvYmxpc3QmY3NvdXJjZT1jc2ZzZWFyY2gmcmVxc2lnPTE0Njg1OTAyMzItODVlMWY1ZmMzN2QwN2Q2Y2VhYjBiZGNkY2M2ZmI1NTJiZWU1ODIzYw== Worth looking even if it's not your bag.

Popular YouTube games critic, John Bain aka TotalBiscuit died of cancer yesterday. I guess if there is one word of advise he gave about cancer it’s this; If you notice any type of bleeding, for god’s sake see a doctor. Don’t ignore it or shrug it off even if you may find it embarrassing. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-44250597

Once again, a double decker bus has hit a railway bridge in Staines whilst carrying school pupils on their way to Thorpe Park. This is a highly marked bridge with signs that flash when a high vehicle approaches. Luckily nobody seriously hurt. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-surrey-32088386

It seems that to everybody that saw or met, heard or heard of, Muhammad Ali, former boxing champion, he was an icon, a legend, hero, ambassador, gentleman, oh yes, and a sports star. He passed away this morning. I doubt that many on this forum will have seen him, most probably never heard of him. I consider that I was lucky to have lived at the same time as he has, as good an example of a cool guy, one will be hard pushed to find. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/opinion/2016/06/04/muhammad-ali-was-an-american-idol-and-a-muslim-read-his-words-on/
