Right, so instead of endless topics asking us how busy the park is going to be, instead here is a rough guide to the kind of business the park/s should be expecting this season. It's not set in stone and remember business can be effected by weather, ride reliability, mount of trains/cars on the rollercoasters, amount of staff working on things, fastrack etc etc etc!10am - 5pm Weekday. Likely to be very empty, particularly in term time. Queue time should be minimal (Unless your name is Stealth and you have a stupid system where you can only load 4 in the first, 8 in the second and then you end up rolling back anyway etc etc) 10am-5pm Weekend. Will be emptyish, however lik…

Hi, Can anyone tell me the cost of an open-ended bounceback ticket? I'm visiting the park next week, and again in a group of 7 a month later. 6 of the group will use 2-for-1's, I'm just trying to find out the cheapest way for the 'odd one out' to get in, without relying on finding someone who needs to share a 2-for-1 on the day. Thanks

Hi, Thorpe are advertising a may half term offer where if you have an AP, you can get a friend in for £15 this week. Can you book this online or is it a turn up only thing, and anyone know if you can take more than one person for £15?

When booking online for saturday 26th, for the 10pm close, do you have to pay for a day entry ticket *and* the late entry ticket when booking online or is it included in the regular ticket and the £10 one is if you want to turn up at 4? thanks!

Hi guys, Have been catching up on the Swarm backwards thread and the possibly renovation of X:/No Way Out and its getting me excited to get back to TP when it opens on 14th March! So my question is, from previous experiences - what is the first day open to the public like? Is it quiet? Busy? All rides working? Everything finished and running I.e. no overlaps with works etc? Its my birthday on the 12th March so I'm using it as an excuse to go TP on the first day it opens. I might as well get as much use out of my AP before it expires in August! It won't stop me going either way but just intrigued! Thanks guys x Em x

  9. Hi everyone, I got my annual merlin pass this year, after saying about it for ages,I called the call center up trying to get my mate a cheap ticket for the 17th so we can go down and check out the swarm and the call centre said that this weekend is pass holder only, but I can buy a ticket on the website at full price, and it dont say anywhere on the website that its pass holders only? are they trying to fob me off? Thanks Tom

Have noticed on the website you cannot buy tickets for this day. Given you cant for the 19th and the scrolling message on the site this seems to imply they are sold out for this day. However they neglect to mention this. Also on some of the newer 2 for 1 deals these days were blacked out (but not the older ones). I find it hard to believe they sold out that far in advanced (unless massive school booking). So basically whats going on those days? There's no events listed.

Hi, I'm going to Thorpe tomorrow with my brother. We've been to Alton Towers a fair few times but he's bored of there so wanted to go to Thorpe. We're going on a Sunday because I read in a few places that it's generally quieter than Saturdays. However with the weather and school holidays I expect it to be busy so looking for any tips to get as many rides as possible! Am I right that there are no SRQs and they push fastrack quite hard? We object to the idea of fastrack so will avoid it. At Alton it's fairly predictable which rides will be busy early morning/quiet late in the day etc. Are there any rides at Thorpe which stay busy all day? Recommendations for rides to get…

  16. Hi guys, I'm just about to book a ticket for my friend at £30.24 for the opening day 14th March. Now I read that friends and family can get 50% off the ticket price when a MAP books. I've tried the THorpe Park number to enquire or even book a ticket for my friend but it obviously says Thorpe Park is closed. How can I enquire/book if the park is closed ?! I'm happy to book online but I just wanted to see whether it was cheaper booking over the phone. Does anyone have an alternative number? Can I book via Merlin rather than THorpe Park itself? CAn someone reply ASAP as I'm on my lunch break waiting to book.... Ta x Emma x

Bit of a long shot, but does any member on here happen to know the best phone number for Thorpe Park to get through quickly? I'd be very grateful if someone could PM it to me, should they know it. Thanks.

I am going to Thorpe Park tomorrow, yay!I had just convinced myself to go on the SAW ride (I hate horror films) and plucked the up the courage when I found out that because of the SAW ALIVE fire, actors had moved to the queue of the coaster. This has completely put me off, I hate the idea of SAW ALIVE because of gory make up, pigmasks and people jumping out at you, so now to have this on the ride has completely freaked me out.So my question is..Will they were there tomorrow? Will they be there only at the peak times of the day? I am guessing the park won't be too busy tomorrow so I am more likely to get picked on by the actors. This is really worrying me!Also, what do they…

This might not be a question, but more of an observation. It seems that the £50/£90 Island unlimited fastrack tickets which are for on-peak / off-peak pricing are not the only two tiers of pricing. Thorpe Park are now charging £100 for days where the park may be open later, so it appears that they have introduced an additional pricing tier, without advertising this. Pretty poor, but hopefully they update their website soon to reflect this as at the moment, the information is incorrect and I feel I've been done out of £20!

  21. Hey First I'm sorry if this comes off weird or even self centered I just want a better idea then some other forums I've seen where people go " I wear X size clothes and I fit fine " xD Basically I want a kinda honest answer here, my partner and I and some friends wanna go to Thorpe Park in the next coupla of weeks but I am scared my butt aint gonna fit in the rides! It's embarrassing sure but I would rather just straight up ask y'all who have a better idea then me of sizes in the rides, then get there and do dreaded walk of shame if I dont fit! Last time I was at a theme park was about ten years ago and I was a skinny little teen, 2 kids and junk food since I am not…

So I'm hoping to visit Thorpe park mid July. I'm: 5ft5 42G (bra size) 18 stone Would I fit on some/most rides? I'm a manual wheelchair user, have been for years, and currently having chemo which means I'm on steroids which means they put on weight. ALOT of weight. I hate it, but in this weather I really want to visit Thorpe park. So, would I fit? Quick replies would be hugely appreciated!

Is an annual pass the best and cheapest way to visit for two days? Didnt there used to be an upgrade on the price that was cheaper for two days? Thanks!

  25. Started by Charlie2001,

So when I buy a standard annual pass can I go straight there, pick it up and straight away I'm allowed to pay money with the pass to go straight in or do I have to go home buy a ticket with the promo code online and then go EDIT: For fright night
