Quick Questions

  1. Started by Themeparkmite,

Hey guys, I’m just here to ask a few questions and I’d appreciate answers as opposed to Sgt Nick Angel level pro-law monologues, thanks. It’s just that my friends and I happen to be a few, or maybe more, months ‘shy of proper’ and are looking to go to one of the club nights as they seem quite fun. Do they check for ID at the gate or is just when getting drinks? Does the staff commonly ask people to produce ID at random?

  2. Hey, I just bought (off my credit card) a 5 pound ticket for FN on October 12 for me and my friend. I also got us a Director's Cut fastrack ticket each. The time on the Director's Cut is "15:00-15:30"... does this mean we're gonna get on all 4 mazes in half an hour, or the first one starts at 3? There are no other times booked for us, just that one...? Also, do I pick up my MAP holder tickets AND the director's cut fastrack tickets from the Advanced Sales Building or the MAP tickets from the Annual Pass buidling and the Director's Cut from the ASB? Thanks in advance, I really need these questions answered .

  5. Hi folks. I'm currently working on a recreation of Thorpe Park's Flying Fish in NoLimits 2 and I was wondering: does anyone have any North, South, etc. plans for Flying Fish that DON'T include the foliage and trees nearby? I have a top down one but not a North south to work out banking, heights and so on.

I'll be going to thorpe park this Saturday and have no doubts that it will be ridiculously busy! But due to work I have no choice :(I really want to do all of the mazes and can't get one of the freaky foursome fast tracks, so does anyone have any recommendations about the best order to do them in if I want to make sure I get all of them done? I'm guessing start with E10? But I don't know what to do from there. Also, are fast tracks for them ever available on the day?

Reviving a really old account here to ask a question for a disabled friend. When requesting a Ride Access Pass via email, it sends you to a portal which includes selecting a ticket. Is the only way to get a Ride Access pass when using a 2 for 1 voucher to go via the ‘Island Access Hub’? Would be nice to avoid the hassle on the day with documentation. Thanks!

  8. Hello! Just a quick question for people who have used the Merlin Annual Pass Friends and Family Perk. It says that you need to book at least 24 hours in advance via calling a specific number and booking over the phone. I just wanted to know whether or not this works like reserving the tickets and then paying the money when you go to the attraction or do you have to pay over the phone via a credit card or something when calling? Planning to visit both the Dungeons and Thorpe in the next 2 weeks and need to get people discount tickets but was unsure as to how exactly this would work Any information would be appreciated!

Just curious...I have two free tickets from The Sun's promotion for Thursday 13th October [not a FN day], but would I still be able to buy Bounce-back tickets for the next day [which is FN] having not paid for a full ticket on the first day?Really appreciate any help, thanks

  10. Hi! I am considering handing in an application to Thorpe Park either applying for Admissions or Ride Operations. I am hoping for a seasonal position and want to save up for uni. I was wondering if anyone had any idea what the interview process is like and if anyone has worked for Thorpe Park what it's like working for Thorpe Park, preferably in Admissions or Rides. Even information on how these sectors work in other resorts such as in Alton Towers or Chessington would be really helpful Thanks

oh well the hypes all here, but once this is clear, what will you see, in our park in Chertsey vote now, a rolley, scarey, flatey, or anotherey --- Mod translation: What do you think will be the next bigger investment at Thorpe Park? -A roller coaster -A permanent scare attraction -A flat ride -Something else

  18. Started by profburp,

I have decided to start with a monthly annual pass as think this is a great idea to help split the cost over the year. I remember them running a similar scheme before but sadly it stopped very suddenly. Anyway my question for you guys is is there anybody who had a monthly one before and did they let you continue this even after it was no longer publicly available or were you then sent back to buy full priced ones?

  19. Started by Dodge2002,

Hey all, I'm planning a trip to go this friday, which obviously comes under their "Advanced booking only" policy and I had a few questions.First off, if I have an annual pass will I still have to book in advanced? It would come in handy anyway because I won't have to queue to pay the £5. If so how do I go about doing this?Secondly, does anyone know if I can still get the Family & Friends discount on these days? I know pretty much every other 241 of half price ticket is invalid that day, so I was wondering if this was also the caseThanks in advanced.

This isn't me going over another topic, but today my friend is at thorpe park and they were in the swarm queue and supposedly something fell off it again. Basically the island has been evacuated so before it hits the tabloids again, what do you think it is?

  21. Hello I'm thinking of buying an Annual pass this year and was wondering how much extra I'll have to pay for the summer nights where the park is open 10am-10pm. Its says in the T&C that there is additional charge but doesn't state how much, would it be the same as Fright nights which is like £5 extra? Thanks Jake

  24. Started by JamminGamer,

Okay so I will no doubt have a variety of questions to ask regarding an upcoming trip to Paris (23rd-26th of June) so I will put them all here so as to not clutter the forums with my queries. Trip details : 3 people, All 'Youths', we have bought train tickets (Eurostar + Local) to get us to Marne La Vallee Station via Lille Europe via London to spend time at Disneyland, we are staying in the Dream Castle Hotel. We are hoping to spend 1 day in Parc Asterix and 3 days in Disneyland Paris Questions!: 1. Is it worth us buying a Disneyland Annual Pass (Francillien) each if we plan to visit around 3 times? Checking the calendar of restriction dates the 1st day we h…

Thorpe are playing a game/challenge thing where guests are not allowed to scream on their 'terrifying adrenaline filled rides.' I dont know anymore on this, if anyone does please comment...
