    At a staggering 5'2 I can't say I've experienced such things.

No Asylum?! But Theme Park Collective said The Asylum was part of the line up!

Haha was it ever! The doors on the sides kept swinging open so we could see what was going on inside the maze while we queued! was still fun though

May as well just make the rides permanent opening schedule March until May and September to October. This happens most years.

A few things that probably relate to many pages ago.
That list by TPC confuses me, the only maze we know returning is Saw Alive and if the rest is true, why would Thorpe keep The Asylum but have IP based mazes for all the rest?
With Fright Night's now starting on Saturday 5th October I wouldn't mind betting that the AP preview event will be on Friday 4th.
As I said earlier, The Passing was having a lot of work done to it.

The skip everything was being emptied into.
First it was wooden floor boards and by the looks of it on top is drainage stuff? Whilst this doesn't mean The Passing is leaving, it's definitely being worked on.
Finally, whilst I love all of these teases for Fright Nights, they seem to be coming very quickly all of a sudden which in one sense is great but it will also mean the build up is over before its properly begun.
    I'm still very excited though

haha well my fingers are crossed for you yeah, much of what they say about how 'different' things are gonna be is to create hype, I think there will still be a lot of very similar elements to previous years

First major reported breakdown in a while hasn't it been?
Unless someone's still been updating the Wiki with EVERY... SINGLE... BREAKDOWN...

    Thank you =D
and yeah, Experiment 10 sounded terrifying and the idea of being separated was so unique! I hope they use similar techniques on their new mazes if this one is not to make a return. That said, it's relatively new itself so I'm not losing hope just yet!

The SAW contract expires at the end of this season I believe - I really can't see it not being renewed at the end of the season so yes, would make sense to tie in mazes with Lionsgate films
I'll be a tad upset if there's no Experiment 10 as I really liked that maze.
(Welcome to the forum by the way!)

Really hope they reveal more soon! Going on holiday in 3 days and wont have internet access xD The suspense of not knowing what's going on is going to kill me xD
In seriousness though- although its obvious the posters are fake- the ideas seem legit. Pretty sure they're all Lionsgate films, the quotes match and its the same licence as saw so it's a bit of a giveaway =P correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't their original SAW contract due to run out around now?? Looks like they've renewed it with some extra benefits
Part of me still wants them to surprise us with totally different mazes from the speculation though! =P

Hi this is my first ever post so excuse me if it's bad!
I've been following this topic for a while and am so excited by it that I decided to make an account so that I could contribute =D
I've only been to Fright Night's once- last year in fact- and only got to go in two mazes (Saw: Alive and The Curse), so I guess I'm a bit of a newbie =P However, I loved them so much and have been incredibly interested in scare mazes ever since! As I never got to go in many of the old mazes (really wanted to go in Asylum ='() it saddens me a bit that they're most likely leaving, but honestly, if the rumours are true, this year should be amazing =D
There is so much potential in mazes based off of movies, and even though I've seen very few of the films that the mazes are rumoured to be based on, I am still very excited.
As for what Theme Park Collective have been posting, I wouldn't listen to a word of it. They appear to be basing it off of guesses just as we are, with the only somewhat solid evidence being the quotes. Personally, I wont be making any assumptions until Thorpe have released the official statement =)
Also- hoping to see at least one of the old mazes that isn't SAW return this year!! =/

    You brought it up...
I'll ask again, why you are so sure? Having an opinion is different to saying categorically something will or won't happen. You are doing the latter, do you mean to be doing the former?
I'm not professing to know anything, but it would be pretty dumb to alienate your new target market a couple of months after deciding what your target market was, wouldn't it? I'll point out again, there is a massive difference between the little children based 'family' event Chessington put on and what I'm meaning by 'family' - I'm talking about the very young teenage market seen squealing away on the big rides in the summer adverts with their parents. Thorpe park is for them now just as much as the old 16-24 independent youth market they've been squarely aimed at for a number of years.

    Scarefest never has ERT anyway.
But even if there was ERT, sun tickets don't get any. No cheapskates get ERT.

First week of Scarefest is dead midweek, that is always my favourite time to go and I do so every year!. All Sacrefest weekends get quite busy though, and one of them usually has a slightly different atmosphere thanks to our travelling friends.

When I went to Legoland with my other half in June, we witnessed an attempted queue jump - by a group of obvious traveller kids on the Boating School ride. They were "trying to find their mum in the queue" apparently - us, a particularly annoyed woman and her husband behind, and a group of Indian chaps succeeded in not letting them get past - and when we got to the front, the woman informed the Ride Op what they had done - and the Ride Op then checked with us quietly to check she was telling the truth - he was a bit gutted that we backed up the story because he knew what he was about to have to deal with, the poor chap!
Needless to say, after we pulled away in our boat, we didn't see another boat behind us for the entirety of the ride - reason being the kids were kicking off on the loading platform and refused to leave. We really really felt for the poor guy who was operating the ride but fair play for not letting them ride

Rode X yesterday for the first time since it's "rebirth" - have to say, with the funds available I am quite impressed, and has certainly breathed a bit of life into what was an odd ride... thumbs up from me. Particularly like the light effects in the queue line tunnels, and the ride itself certainly suits the new "family orientated" Thorpe.
