Posted August 29, 201312 yr comment_167197 RMC keeps on trucking along... This layout seems exceptionally messed up...
August 29, 201312 yr comment_167204 It looks like it would be great fun to ride, but there is no denying it's ugliness.
August 29, 201312 yr comment_167211 Why not just build a steel coaster? This coaster has nothing about it's elements that suggest it wants to be a wooden coaster at all. At least Outlaw Run and Hades 360 and even Iron Rattler stayed true to the blueprint of the traditional wooden coaster before whacking the inversions in. This thing only has one airtime hill.
August 29, 201312 yr Author comment_167212 Full POV... That random upside down bit looks awful to ride... WHY?
August 29, 201312 yr comment_167213 Steel coaster more like, even if it was steel still an Ugly Coaster. This is not Wooden.
August 29, 201312 yr comment_167216 Watching the full POV shows that it doesn't actually look that great.
August 29, 201312 yr comment_167224 Boring, rubbish looking ride. Colour me not interested in these inverting woodies.
August 29, 201311 yr comment_167229 This ride looks as if it has the layout of a typical steel one. Just because its the highest ad steepest woodie definitely doesn't make it the worlds best one.
August 29, 201311 yr comment_167238 Haven't been on an RMC but I'd way more OK with the layout if it had more airtime hills and got rid of those weird turnaround things.
August 29, 201311 yr comment_167242 To be fair Outlaw Run looks really fun (and not quite as ugly) but this and Iron Rattler look horrendous in my opinion.
August 29, 201311 yr comment_167243 Robb alvey and his minions seem to be going nuts over this ride, I don;t have a clue why they are, ugly, stupidly short, has only 1 airtime hill and has pointless inversions, might as well be steel, atleast then it would sort of make sense!
August 29, 201311 yr comment_167245 Isn't he the guy who decided the Smiler wasn't a real rollercoaster because it had a second lifthill? (or something equally as ridiculous) I wouldn't read too much in to his opinion to be honest... This ride looks pretty fun I am not sure how those steep turns and prolonged inversions are going to ride though.
August 29, 201311 yr comment_167250 Going to be another unthemed mess, how exciting. Not going to lie though, I think the ride definitely looks fun, but I agree with Dara, it's only saying it's wood because IT'S NEVER BEEN DONE BEFORE, if it was a steel roller coaster, no one would bat an eye. Sigh.
August 29, 201311 yr comment_167251 Am I the only one who thinks that, bar the length, it looks okay? Not gonna lie, it doesn't set the world on fire and I'm not dying to go out and try it, but I don't think it looks bad, in honesty.
August 29, 201311 yr comment_167273 Robb alvey and his minions seem to be going nuts over this ride, I don;t have a clue why they are, ugly, stupidly short, has only 1 airtime hill and has pointless inversions, might as well be steel, atleast then it would sort of make sense! Well some of them have actually been on this type of coaster which probably helps them form a valid opinion. Isn't he the guy who decided the Smiler wasn't a real rollercoaster because it had a second lifthill? (or something equally as ridiculous) I wouldn't read too much in to his opinion to be honest... Not quite.
August 30, 201311 yr Author comment_167281 He said it was just two coasters stuck together to get a record and that they could've easily put in a launched second lift instead because the vertical lift would completely ruin the pacing of the ride... Surprising what happens when people actually ride coasters and can formulate their own opinions... Not that of course you're allowed them on that site...
August 30, 201311 yr comment_167282 I wasnt impressed with this either. It seems extreely short and, as, has been said above, totaly misses the point of a woodie. I think Big Dipper at Blackpool will be a better ride and thats 90. (and dont get me started on Rob 'All brits are stupid' Alvey)

February 22, 201411 yr comment_177014 The new lift hill support structure on Goliath. VERY I305-esque!
February 22, 201411 yr comment_177021 What has this got got do with wood? Surely you can't build a big coaster made of metal then declare it the tallest and steepest wooden coaster in the world? It's nonsense,
February 22, 201411 yr comment_177024 The rest of the structure is wood apart from that bit, but then I suppose if the RCDB can class Hades 360 as a woodie, then that is still a woodie, however stupid it might be.
February 22, 201411 yr comment_177030 The rest of the structure is wood apart from that bit, It may well be, but the bit they are claiming the record on isn't! There are clearly three standard coaster types now; wood steel and hybrid. Until they split the records I'll just have to ignore them!
February 22, 201411 yr Author comment_177033 Looks less like a Wooden coaster everytime they update it... Basically a steel coaster dressed up to look like a Wooden, nothing more, if it wasn't for the whole 'Wooden' coaster concept of it there would be absolutely no gushing of the company... I think I've realised why they don't connect with me...
February 22, 201411 yr comment_177045 Outlaw Run actually looks quite good IMO, but the others look horrible.
