Fear and psychology seem to be the clue they can't stop recycling. If I were to take things literally I'd say it was themed on The Scarecrow, but a dark ride dedicated to one Batman villain would be a little random.

Batman is Six Flags. The capital letters in the Mind Gap add up to ADSEMS, or DSEMS if you don't count the A. I'll google it.

I've noticed there are two As which makes ADSEMSA

AMASSED is the only recognisable word I can see from that.

Because the two As can be ignored because they're capitalised correctly...

 

Even then, it means nothing... Just another puzzle piece that doesn't fit the jigsaw to keep the enthusiasts wanting...

A Batman theme would be highly unoriginal and boring.

Batman coasters have been done to death and there have been a few simulators before. I would love a batman themed dark ride but here's the thing....

If Merlin were to secure the IP....what cost would that be at? I would imagine it would cost a pretty penny or two....

What would that mean in way of an experience? A very cut down one imo.

I would like a great batman dark ride but can see it being far too expensive! Would fit in this country because a huge percentage of people have never experienced a batman attraction.

And besides, we're predominately a Marvel nation.

New teaser video!

The first thing that came to my mind when watching that was the handymen from bioshock infinite. Very interesting video, but it does seem that many people will consider this gory, especially since thorpe is now going towards a family market.

Well, I think it was decided pretty early that this ride absolutely must be for the family market but the marketing is a little… serious.
