I'm so happy! I hope I get on this Monday or Tuesday. I had just accepted It probably wouldn't be open! Fingers crossed all goes well!
July 1, 20169 yr Author comment_237674 Of course its worth remembering these are Technical Rehearsals - there are no guarantees it will be open and some things may still need fine tuning but we are getting closer!

I know but I can hope Do you know if people are still being asked to sign the NDAs?
July 1, 20169 yr Author comment_237680 They are still tweeting people saying they are hoping it will open today
July 1, 20169 yr comment_237684 Nobody has gone in yet, but already the queue is full! Current position: Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
July 1, 20169 yr Author comment_237685 Just a reminder now the attraction has started to open please ensure you use the spoiler topic http://forum.maniahub.com/topic/11243-spoilers-derren-browns-ghost-train/ The park has requested the secrets are not split during the rehearsals - please respect this!
July 1, 20169 yr comment_237686 Glad to see it's entered the full tech rehearsals stage! I would assume it will enter normal operation next week if all goes well today and over the coming days.
July 1, 20169 yr comment_237690 3 hours of waiting in the hope that it opened? I mean yeah it's opened but really? I've never queued for a ride for that length of time ever...
July 1, 20169 yr comment_237692 You've obviously never been to the first day of any major rides! Americans do it best.... Gringotts got 6 hours... Frozen had 5 hours...
July 1, 20169 yr comment_237693 Wasn't there a B&M flier with a 12 hour queue on opening day I vaguely remember hearing about?
July 1, 20169 yr comment_237695 Very positive stuff on Twitter coming from people who've ridden it. I know it's first day excitement, but at least it's positive!

Frozen had 5 hours... Those however were official opening days (much like Klugheim yesterday), not a 'wait and hope it opens' day... Even Taron didn't reach that long yesterday (75 mins most of it, opened 90 minutes after park opening)... There's a massive difference between waiting that length of time knowing the ride is open, rather than waiting there in the hope that you get a technical rehearsal...

You would've loved it at Universal just before Kong softs started, geeks waiting alllll day in the rain and it didn't even open!
July 1, 20169 yr comment_237698 I think on the day Smiler first did a soft openining we were queuing down the path to X-sector for something like three hours in the sun, with the staff constantly telling us it wasn't going to open. Eventually we saw some trains go round and everyone cheered, then a bunch of people in suits went round, then we finally got let in. Got horribly sunburnt but it's really exciting, not like the atmosphere of a normal queue.
