JoshC.
NB: Capacity - Number of people in one train at any one time Throughput - Number of people through the ride per hour
Coaster
500pph is far too low, really hope it's higher than that given how much they spent on it.
Marc
Perfectly possible it's getting a lower throughput as staff get used to it and find the best way to operate it Thaf said the queue always seems to move quickly - no doubt helped by very few fastracks at the moment! The lack of Fastrack definitely helps, and makes it much more bearable to queue for, but in the long term they should be aiming for much higher than 500 IMO. Marc
Yeah of course I agree - I meant that any throughputs in its first few weeks of operations are likely to differ to those long term with this sort of attraction compared to say a coaster which only really has one way of operating it. Matt 236
I thought the throughput was around 800-900 PPH. But then again that may be on full capacity. Which again I hear it isn't on full just yet so may well be 500-600 PPH right now. 400400
ThemeParkCrafter
I was told that there is no drop section. Who else found the evacuation scene rushed?

Matt 236
Rushed evacuation scene? Well I never! I honestly expected a relaxing and peaceful experience on a ride of this nature.
ThemeParkCrafter
It was not clear enough what was happening. I did like the train effect though

The hosts tell you to take your headsets of and evacuate you from the train and into the safe room. They do also explain before you go into the safe room what is happening. JamminGamer
Based on tweets I've seen they are batching people in groups of 60 into the queue line every 15 minutes. I'm guessing it's because if they have any problems they can easily and quickly get people out of the queue. Not sure why else they would do this. ThemeParkCrafter
Very similar situation last night
Cal
Thats quite worrying... a throughput of 240 an hour. Must be running on reduced trains.
Mitchada04
That'd be like one train op, ride is about 15 mins long
JamminGamer
Maybe the problems over the last few days was specific to one or two of the trains then and they are running this one whilst work is being done to the others or maybe work is complete on one but not the rest. Who knows?!?!?!
Marc
I expect they just don't want the queue to be full and it break down rather than they have anything to do with it's throughput

We need to evacuate quickly!" Leading to the tunnel - "quickly cover your mouth do you don't inhale the gas, you need to get to the evacuation point quickly!" In the live action sequence - "We need to exit down this tunnel along the right side in a single file line to avoid the gas inhalation!" Nope, not clear at all. You mean the one on a different platform and a different train after the initial escape route has been blocked with the VR segment supposedly taking you out of the tunnels? Essentially doing exactly what you intended to do in the first place?

ThemeParkCrafter
Well I was immersed. Felt like I was coming home on the Piccadilly line. Seriously, the scare aspect was too much for me, bearing in mind I have never done a scare attraction. Since I have return tickets and priority passes to dbgt, I will reride to have the full experience. Somebody claimed to have a backstage tour of dbgt. He seemed to say if you look at the carriage when reboarding after the evacuation scene, you can see how some of the ride works.
