My school was seen as the school for rough, slutty girls but it was always the grammar school girls that wore their skirts like that, we were decent! And we hated them You got the reputation spot on wasn't just grammar school girls, my school was meant to be an amazingly good school yet people wore skirts as belts and were orange. She is not a popstar that needs songwriters to write and produce her songs. She writes her own songs and composes the notes themself. She knows how she wants her songs to sound like and co-produces them and comes up with a lot of her own ideas. She is a creative artist not CREATED artist and she has her own webisode series which she scripts, as well as directs and co-directs her music videos. She even directed her latest music video JUDAS.Dan9 was right!!Artists should be doing this anyway but they dont. She has worked hard to get where she is today. She is an inspiration to those who have been bullied, like many people on this forum including myself and she has gotten over her problems and persevered to get where she is today.She is bisexual, she's not that good looking and she is slated by people but she gets up every night and puts on an amazing show. Everyone says nothing but good things about her. Everyone from celebrities, her fans, her colleagues to politicans, the President himself and the the royal family have applauded her and show respect for the artist she is and the person she is. She generally does care about her fans because she knows how it felt to be an outcast and she wants people to achieve the full potential and to not worry about all the insecurities and imperfections they harbour. She makes brilliant music and her videos have hidden symbolism, as well as flawlessly combines impressive visuals with fashion with empowering and true messages about celebrity culture, society, commercialism, equality, empowerment and the constant advocating of the LGBT community. Madonna wasn't that good looking, she still isn't, in her hey day she did all that... Where was everyone bumming her? Yeah people loved her, but at least they didn't go on about her EVERY single f'ing second. Granted she is an amazing artist, I love her music, even though I wouldn't claim her latest works are 'art' since they sound pretty much like generic songs, like Born This Way sounded like a Madonna song, and Judas sounds like Bad Romance. She is a remarkable person, but I don't see why everyone has to be up her arse all the time. There are much more remarkable people out there like Bill Gates or Nelson Mandela, so why aren't everyone up their arse? They've done more for this world than GaGa has. Just because she's done a small bit of advocating does not mean it gives people the right to go round and talk about her non-stop like everyone cares? I enjoy living my life and quite frankly Lady GaGa could get hit by a bus and I doubt it'll effect my life. Sure I won't have some of her amazing songs, but still I'll live. I've survived a lot of people dying, I'm sure I'll survive with her dying. Also your point on her work in the LGBT community is absolutely bullshiz. I do not believe for one second that she has helped at all, and I do not see her as a gay icon. She does all this 'advocating' if you wanna call it that, to attract fans from the Gay community, Britney did it, GaGa's doing it. It works for artists. Do I think either of them has changed people's opinions on us? Like hell do I? She's just a human being that I do not need to hear about constantly. Her music videos are nothing special, they're good, but they're not exactly the work of Directors like Stephen Spielberg or George Lucas, so I really don't care if she directed them herself. Just quit with the constant barrage of GaGa, you don't have to centre your life around one person you will never know. With the crap you spew, it's no wonder why people are horrible to you. Music however is something that I care about a lot and it makes me happy. Life is crap and we all have things we believe in or take pleasure in doing and that can help to make life enjoyable. Seriously Seb, sometimes you need to realise when to shut up, say nothing and keep out. Did you really need to come out with crap and make pointless jabs and digs at me. The amount of people who have died or gotten seriously injured just by being LGBT. What she has done is nothing compared to those people. For that little point she is a fraud. Whatever on her other points she might not be a fraud but this pisses me off when people are like this celebrity does this or that. No they come out and everyones like OMG they've done so much. Has she attended a protest? Did she visit one of the worst places to go if your gay? No she sat on her arse and said I'm bi. I've done more for the LGBT community than she has. Just because you don't know or hear about it, it doesn't mean, it's not true or hasn't happened.Secondly Jord, I don't talk about her 24/7, I just don't like it when people give her so much crap and I don't constantly barrage any of you with talk about Gaga, I have barely mentioned her.
