Coaster
I hope they relocate the dragon ride (basically Rocky Express but much better and it can go backwards). That ride was my childhood! Whiteknuckle
Whiteknuckle
I hope they relocate the dragon ride (basically Rocky Express but much better and it can go backwards). That ride was my childhood! Yep. Always ride that when I go there. The laterals are insane
Mitchada04
I always thought when looking at the concept art "where is that going because that surely can't fit on the old dinosaur site" so this makes a lot more sense! That is a big site and it's a big development, good on Paultons! Now all we need is them to remove the go karts and put a haunted house/dark ride there and the park is complete basically. Matt 236
I think those photo updates made me even more excited about this project which is probably the best addition to a non merlin uk park since I can remember. Why can't we see water fall & rockwork structures more frequently in our parks?
pluk
Great update, love how they present these things to; simple enough for kids but interesting enough for adults. Now all we need is them to remove the go karts and put a haunted house/dark ride there and the park is complete basically. I think the log flume should be next, either get a proper one or theme the travelling style one they have to disguise and enhance it. Mark9
Why can't we see water fall & rockwork structures more frequently in our parks? Uh.. Matt we are, Paultons is one of 'our' parks. I do feel like Paultons is our saving grace in the UK. It seems to be the only park where anything could happen and with any installation you can tell they care. JoshC.
That layout is interesting - the turn out of the station looks like it could give a nice bit of force for a junior coaster! Be interesting to compare it to the Ben 10 layout. I'm really excited for the park - this investment is an obvious statement of intent for where they want to take the place. Paultons had always been a park on my 'to do' list, but more a 'I'll get it done when I get it done' type of park. This investment has shot it up there to a park already in my 2016 plans - and I hope that it gives the general public a similar feeling when the area opens up. JoshC.
Construction update: https://paultonspark.co.uk/lost-kingdom/2015/07/3114/delivery-on-track We have track people!
Rover2012
Very exciting!! With 2 coasters, that's a lot of track to get on site. Will we see vertical construction soon?
Matt 236
The more this project progresses, the more exciting I'm becoming. Paultons are really stepping forward the most of UK parks right now and could well put them on the map (if they're no there already). Benin
They are on the map already in the wider circle since they added Peppa Pig Land... Hence why they are able to push forward and built this addition...
Rover2012
Is there any news on this? I've tried to find some recent updates and there isn't much about. Along with Thorpe this seems to be the biggest uk developments for 2016 but is quite quiet at the moment from an update point of view. Mattgwise
Lucky you. I've given up with it. After about 150 games the highest I have managed is about 300,000. No where near the daily high scores.
Rover2012
Exciting!! Hopefully will see more pics now there is something interesting to look at. No luck for me either with the game!
pluk
I got through with about 1.5 million, which I think is actually quite low for a winning score. Found it easier to get high scores on the mobile app than the online version for some reason. Good Luck!
MachoMachine
How can you?! I got 5600, I am a weakling. What a good idea though!
Matt 236
Paulton's upcoming new area coming along nicely. The UK has some new exciting developments next year for once. Some mighty fine theming building up around here, this could well beat WC16's even.
OldFarmerDean
It's not difficult to beat the bland nasty colour red of some of the warehouse for WC16 though is it aha
Mattgwise
Looks great already! Coaster
That already looks amazing for Paultons. If they can produce theming like that, why are a bigger company producing bland green/red warehouses?
JoshC.
Jesus Christ, how or why would anyone want to compare a dark ride to an entire new area? They are completely different projects with completely different aims. Not taking anything away from this as I'm sure it'll be fab, but to try and compare this to WC16 is, wrote frankly, ludicrous. pognoi
