Nemesis Inferno

Old photo is OLLLLLLLLLD...You can tell by the coloured lava woodchips on the floor... I'm guessing that's a 2003 photo as well considering the site... Maybe 2004... Annoyingly, the page about Inferno is not in English... But here's the link anyways...http://coastersandmore.de/rides/nemesis/nemesis.shtml

Oh man I feel old when people say they've never seen Inferno like that. It looks so new and shiny in that photo. I've said this so many times. But Inferno was so epic with everything working; it got about halfway there at the beginning of last season but it hasn't been the same since 2005.List of things for me would be:Station: Lanterns fixed, including the spot lights underneath them. Dispatch theme returning consistently with the bass cannons turned on to a level that kicks butt.Tunnel:Lights to have original gel colours put over them; ie: red and not the orange combination they have now. Vapour back to its original format- there used to be pipes all the way through the tunnel and not just at the entrance. Along with this, there needs to be a cleaning/ maintenance schedule to prevent the pipes from clogging up and then the whole effect stops working.Geysers- worked fine for most of last year. They need to keep them working so I can get all excited every other train. :unsure:Waterfalls- they looked really cool. Bring them back. I loved the water filters disguised as crocodiles/ alligators, which I believe are still there.

What ever happened to the red lights in the tunnel, They only seem to have lasted for one season or so, Why couldn't Thorpe fix them when they fixed the mist this season ?

The red lights only ever really seemed col with the smoke there to back it up :VThis is my favourite ride at the park. The atmosphere, the smoothness, that SONG. Oooooh yeaaaah,

Rode Inferno today - mist and lights full blast in the tunnel.Must say that the hissing from the mist really adds to it as well! :)

I have never been on it without the mist, can't imagine that. This is one of my favourite rides, I persuaded my mum to go on it once, bit of a mistake...she had to be taken off it in a wheelchair!Turns out my mum isn't good with rollercoasters, and spent the whole day in the hospital area of Thorpe Park. Don't worry she was fine!...and me and my brother got passes to jump the queues!

I'm sure they've had 3 cars on Nemesis Inferno before. Anyway it is a great ride, so smooth and great fun but Nemesis as Alton still holds the crown for me. For those discussing Slammer, it's not even worth queueing for really to be honest. It's more painful then fun, especially on the hips!

There are more forces on the back row of any ride... Very noticeable due to the fact that you're generally being dragged along rather than pulling...

I see Ive only been back row on Colossus and saw and they felt same as the front but there in carts so effect would be different to nemmie I will give it ago in couple of weeks time B) thanks

last season they had to block off the last 2 rows of Colossus during some heavy rain because the track was slicker and made the trains go faster. some people in the back rows complained that they were feeling faint when they came off the ride. so yeh back rows are more intense
