This might sound like a stupid question but tomorrow I am going to Thorpe with a friend and therefore won't have a parent to hold my bag/ phone. This means that I will have to hold my bag at all times in the park. However, on some rides like inferno and Colossus, there isn't any bag drop. What would you recommend I do with my phone (and bag) when I do rides because I really don't want my phone to be stolen?

Hi Guys, My premium pass is up for renewal on 24 September and I'm only going to Fright Nights once this year so hardly worth paying £111 renewal to then only spend one day at TP and then it closes 5 months and only get 6 months out of the pass. I see that the premium passes full price is £199 - which is a big jump from £111 renewal! When the sales come out in Jan 2015 how much are the premium passes? Do they come down in price much? Wondering whether I should purchase one then - but I guess again I'm only getting 6 months use of it because I can't use it until March and then only until Oct/Nov but at least I would have Fright nights included again.... What…

I was just wondering how the park can justify only discounting concession prices on a 1 day online ticket by £2 to £22.99, that seems a bit steep considering MOST elderly people who go there aren't going for the rides, they are usually with a family and are there for people too young as company or just to spend a day with grand-kids etc. Does anyone else think they should offer a highly discounted ticket for people who will not be going on the rides such as the elderly or others and make them them wear something like a wristband so they cannot get on the rides? Seems like it would be fairer for those people.

Hey. I'am currently trying to purchase either a Thorpe Park/Alton Tower T shirt or hoodie for someone, but was wondering if there was any way I could get one online. I would usually try and get one from the park itself but I doubt I am going there until later this year and by then, it would be too late. I know this is very unlikely, but I thought it may at least be worth a shot. Thanks.

Greetings all! So I've been a long time lurker on these forums and am currently planning some theme park trips in the Summer for next year and was wondering whether an annual pass would be efficient for my situation. Not really a quick question but from lurking on these forums for so long and from what I've seen you guys are pretty good with questions and I wasn't sure of where else I would post this Okay to the point! Myself and 2 others all above 18 at this point want to visit Alton Towers, Thorpe Park and possibly various other Merlin attractions like the dungeons, legoland, Tussauds etc in the end of June start of July time period and probably various other visits…

Hey everyone I am new to this site and have some questions about the Fright Nights. I have been trying to figure out about how the Fright Night admission works. When you buy the admission online is that just for the Fright Night or is it for the whole day? Or do you have to buy a general admission day ticket and a Fright Night ticket on top of that? I have really been looking foward to visiting Thorpe Park while I am in the UK and luckily it will be during Halloween time, because sadly I will be missing my home parks Halloween events. I know at one of the parks here you pay your day admission ticket price and the Halloween stuff is included, but at another one it's a sepa…

Hi, I went to Thorpe park a couple of weeks ago and I had heard that the queue boards had been moved or something? As we went around the park I kept an eye out for them but I couldn't see any of them. Not sure where they are. Maybe I'm just blind or something. Thanks.

Okay, the reason why I am asking this is because I had a sketchy experience regarding queue jumpers at the queue in saw the ride at Thorpe park.... So I got really annoyed at these people who where pushing past saying that their 'friends were just over there'. I confronted them telling them they couldnt go past because you werent allowed to do such thing and that she was with her friends and they werent ahead. So she pushed ahead and waited until their was a fence between us until she threatened me that if I didn't shut up she would slap me and 'do me in'.. So I called a member of staff and by then I couldnt spot her in the queue. Then I spotted her at the end of the ride…

Do queue times affect your time at thorpe park. Due to me still being at school, and my 2 younger brothers are not tall enough to ride rides at thorpe park, my parents rather go Alton Towers as it has rides for me and my brothers. However, I go thorpe park once a year with my school. This is obviously a busy times. However, I do see that Thorpe Park are less organised than the towers, with queueing systems. Here is an example of differences of queue times. FACT: I went to thorpe Park: 17th July 2012 I went to Alton Towers: 26th October 2012 Thorpe Park Queues: Swarm- 75 Mins Saw- The Ride- 90 Mins Nemesis Inferno- 80 Mins Colossus- 120 mins Tidal Wave- 60 Mins L…

Couple of questions! This will be my first fright nights (8th) and I'm not too sure how to go about it, I have a premium annual pass so if I'm right in thinking I can just turn up and go in?My mate on the other hand only has a Standard pass, do we have to call up and get it sorted? (the £5 extra he has to pay) or can he pay on the door when he arrives? Also got two other mates interested in going, are they able to still do 2 for 1's?

Hi guys, I'm assuming that a light shower on and off during the day (which is forecast for TP tomorrow) won't shut down all the rides? I am going with a friend who hasn't been for ages and I want her to get on all the rides! I heard that sometimes if the rain is bad, they will stop people going on the front seats (unless they want to get battered by the rain drops! I hear it can be quite painful) but other than that normal service is resumed when it rains? What about Stealth as I know this shuts at a hint of slight wind or weather change - can this still run in the wet/rain? Its my favourite What happens with fast track as I will be fast tracking all major rides at …

Really random, but one thing I noticed at the annual pass day was that on empty seats, and running empty trains, the staff done up the buckles on the restraints, and when someone didn't do it on Detonator, the operator said on the mic that he needs to. Is this a new rule for 2014? As I always thought they never used to, on Detonator I used to see the straps flying upwards when it dropped.

Hi all, I was just having a look at the thorpe website and I've noticed a feature on it. https://www.thorpepark.com/tickets-passes/ticket-information/ When you click on tickets the options come up, RESERVE N RIDE, is the last on the list however risk still there. However, when you click on it, it comes up with an error message! My question is mainly aimed at thorpe however it takes a while to do a direct message to them so I was wondering if anyone knew if they had plans to bring back the system? Many thanks.

Reviving a really old account here to ask a question for a disabled friend. When requesting a Ride Access Pass via email, it sends you to a portal which includes selecting a ticket. Is the only way to get a Ride Access pass when using a 2 for 1 voucher to go via the ‘Island Access Hub’? Would be nice to avoid the hassle on the day with documentation. Thanks!
