I’ve not been to a meet this year due to personal reasons but just want to say thanks to Ryan (and Paige) for the meets I attended last year - both myself and Roodie enjoyed the ones we attended and as was the case when Peaj ran the meets, they were always great fun. Best of luck to Matt in running forthcoming meet ups - when I’m up to it I’ll try to get to some meet ups as you guys here are a great bunch of people and I kind of miss everyone

Also most of the ‘rumours’ you mention are your own awful opinion that you try to cover up with the word ‘rumour’. We all see it bud! Its just completely absurd that you think Studio 13 could return but not Blair witch, when the Blair witch path is literally the only space with enough room which is deemed ‘safe’ for the park to use for a RUMOURED (correct use of the word) new attraction. I’m sorry if this comes across as offensive or rude but I’m sure I’m being the voice of many others who don’t say it as they don’t want a warning or ban from the site. Yeah chavs sadly are very present at Thorpe, you will probably find Alton much better as overall the crowds (bar travellers day) are usually much less of a pain. With your fear I think the best thing is to do is to just not think about it and just hop in the queue line, don't compare any other coasters to the ride in question, just hop in the queue and give it a go. When I went to Portaventura this year I had a huge fear of Hurakan Condor, this fear mainly came from me comparing Detonator to Hurakan Condor, Detonator left me shaken after every ride so how could I possibly do something 3 times the size? It turned out Hurakan Condor wasn't as intense as Detonator anyway. I shouted and screamed all the way up the tower and I trembled like a leaf but it came one of my favorites in the park, I think fear on rides is more of us building the ride up to be something terrifying, most of the time we get off realizing how stupid we were for being so afraid! Maybe you'll overcome this fear this year or in 5 years, do it at your own pace. With Alton I have to say maybe try Nemesis (sure its intense but its smooth and a great ride) to get used to inverting. The Smiler is probably another good option but obviously inverting 14 times in a few minutes might be a little overwhelming.

Hey all, Due to the change in leading these meets this has obviously meant a change in the calendar for 2018. As a result of the change the calendar will also change: September abroad trip will no longer take place (this year anyway) October - TPM Fright Nights Meet December - TPM Christmas Meet A provisional 2019 calendar will come around November time. In the meantime keep your eyes peeled for information on the Fright Nights meet. Matt

I got my A level results today, and I’m so relieved! Especially with physics which was a killer of a subject ? Maths - A* Further Maths - A Physics - B As a result of this I will now be going on to study Civil and Structural Engineering at the University of Leeds!

It might look crap at the moment but as has been mentioned all the pumps are working and it's hauling ass at the moment, my last ride on it was the most intense I've ever seen it!
