They aren't irrelevant - they clearly explain (in a fun way) what the marmaliser is actually supposed to do, which could otherwise be lost on people.
Also, you can't argue with a few interesting facts about the ride on display. They are proud of their new ride, and want to make it look better. No harm in that.

Why haven't they fixed the music? The ride isn't even that old, they should get their ***** in gear and fix it!
It's been like that for ages now.

I'm worried 3 weeks and we haven't really seen any major construction ( the arena for example) making me think that themeing may be poor.

I've had a couple of thoughts spring to mind following the little bit of talk about Chat in the Shoutbox...
Is there a chance of maybe having a 'specific chat time' once or twice a week? It's no secret Chat has become quiet (I know people may say that's down to the time of year and that, but compared to this time last year, and previous years, it is dead), so maybe having a publicised time for when Chat should be busy could bring people back into the Chat Room and make it used more regularly?
Look at when the TPM Quiz was going on; a time was set, and people made the time to specifically go in there for it. Maybe, a 'Discussion Topic' (even relate it to a topic on the forums, like 'What would you like to see Thorpe do for 2014?') could be created for people to just chat about a specific topic and have a laugh at the same time?
As I say, just a couple of random ideas that have come to mind. But maybe using Chat for 'bigger things' may encourage more people to pop in and use it on a regular basis again?

Thorpe's official website hasn't even revealed the lineup for the event yet, so only facebook fans (and a few others who have heard) know the lineup.
It's surprising that their main website hasn't given much in the way of information about the event yet - surely by now (with less than a month to go) the mazes should be on the website?

Why can't they run the rides at full throughput like that all day then?

Nobody said anything about working poorly the rest of the time, just merely they should always be aiming towards 1000 people an hour at a minimum rather than directing it to a single hour in the day. It's hardly hard work pulling a seat belt and restraint to see if its locked, the way some of the staff act half the time make it look like it's the most stressful work they've ever endured!

I did. In honesty, I can't remember much of it (I was only 9 or 10 at the time, so naturally spent a lot of the maze with my head buried in the person in front of me's back..) but it was a strange experience.
It had a lot of strobes and a focus on weird people who were trapped in the freezer. There was lots of mist to simulate fog and cold and that, and featured the usual chainsaw man at the end.
All in all, it was pretty much the same premise as the Asylum. The big difference was it wasn't all just chain link fencing, there were a couple of 'scenes' thrown it too.

On my previous Summer Nights, I haven't had to wait more than 5 minutes for ny wristband, and there was only 2 or 3 booths open. As for the way people were queuing, I found that the queues were so minimal it wouldn't really matter if you did go through the gates again, as there was so little queue..

5pm and 7pm? I won't be bothering with that then - what's the point in putting on a Halloween event and then only getting another hour of park time than other days?

As for Vampire, that might as well be closed considering the service it's offering.

Thing is there is no massive support structure on stealth like there is on Kingda Ka that is why its possible to put it on kingda, stealth just has 4 slanted supports for the top hat so thorpe would need to fork out loads for an unnecessary support structure, like Benin said It would be pointless. Plus Detonator is still a crowd puller so it wont be going anytime soon! Plus Stealth would look ugly as hell with that bolte on and the amount of people in the plaza would be stupid. Plus drop towers should stand alone and proud, not be a mediocre bolt on to something.

That was something me and my mum were both saying. This is their peak time of year, and they just dont have enough staff to make the park run properly. The adventure services also had a huge queue, stretching past the drinks unit. So whether people were complain or what I'm not sure but anywhere you couldve made a queue, there was one.

For standard pass holders it was a complete joke last year. Book online, pay online then premium pass holders could show they had booked at the gate and walk in, but standard pass holders were forced to go back to the ticket booth to show their credit/debit card to be handed a ticket which was torn up 30 seconds later when you we through the main gate.

Lego open later than on a random Wednesday than Chessingtons peak Halloween event when it will ikely be just as unbearably busy. LOL at Chessington.

Must admit Skullrock does look quite bland/unfinished at the moment and almost as if it was done in a rush job. I hope they consider concealing the warehouse with rock works and the addition of more enhancements to the drop as it looks not near as good as I was expecting and could potentially be a very good little flume ride if these medium scale changes are fulfilled.

Summer nights is well worth the money whether you do or do not have an annual pass. The atmosphere is a different one from the day with quite a calm one plus it should be very quiet as well. In some cases, you may even be able to re-ride on the following cycle too.
Night rides on the coasters are amazing (even on Flying Fish).
