I don't think anyone is taking these guesses too seriously, they certainly shouldn't be, and the speculation thing is all a bit of fun. That is until someone states it will or won't be something and gets aggy when people disagree (a la the washing machine element declaration by those buffoons), but no one's doing that here so we may as well play along with the parks little games.

It would never be a Silent Hill ride. That'd be way too amazing. As too would a Five Nights at Freddy's dark ride. Waaaay too amazing.

None of the clues have anything even remotely related to Doctor Who. What does Doctor who have to do with taking minds, always watching, lights etc.

There was no evidence to ever suggest Doctor Who, it's just some people reading a little too much into things!

 

If this thing does end up being Doctor Who themed (which I'm 100% sure it won't be) I'll admit I was wrong the whole time, but I just can't see this using that IP.

I have never been to thorpe park but I'm just wondering the picture with the lights are there any of these lights at the park if it is maybe they have clues on them on what the ride is.  its a long shot but worth checking.

On the website - Mind Gap... that's an odd turn of phrase, sounds like a play on words of "Mind The Gap" to me.

Expect a train carriage I say 

Mind the gap was always something the old train conducted shouted at you as we you entered stations, I do seem to remember, along with don't stick your head out the window you f****** idiot.

Maybe this is a Victorian train simulator, see how close you can get to the oncoming train before you head is sliced off....

It's joyous isn't it, not knowing something. Nearly everytime the spoilers are left right and centre but Merlin have been pretty good at keeping things secret until they're ready to announce.

Who are trying to open a park on the swanscombe peninsula?

Reading the mind gap page on the mindswanted website for 11th September, one thing that stood out for me is that it appears there is one person who is behind all of this. Rather then say we are watching you which would suggest a organisation or foundation, it just says 'I'm constantly watching' and 'there is nowhere to hide from my gaze.' I guess in a way this could rule out something like cybermen for doctor who and any other thing which involves a organisation.
