Then again, I rarely follow a theme park community that insists on banning people if they prefer Pepsi to Coke (amongst other silly reasons).

I’ve done 35 in total. I am a little B&M biased though. They’ve been my favourite manufacturer for years. Which 7 have you done?

35?!! If I had the money and wasn’t petrified of planes I’d love to ride every single B&M.  Never gonna happen so I just gawk at POVs

I had made a B&M list a while back, but after a few rides on Nemesis not too long ago and many rides on Swarm I do prefer Swarm to Nemesis (hence why I bumped up Swarm a few spots). Unpopular I know but I do think Nemesis is far too overhyped.

I'm uneasy about the word over-hyped (or over-rated) in any context these days. It seems to imply a 'only I can see Nemesis for what it is' vibe whereas maybe its just a case that Nemesis just isn't for you.

Think it might also be an issue of when someone rode Nemesis. I was quite fortunate that Nemesis was more of the kick-starter into coaster enthusiasm (17 years ago! I rode it before some people on this forum even existed!) so I had no real knowledge of it, whereas a lot of enthusiasts who have been in the game a bit before going up there will end up being no doubt disappointed because of the aura many of us give it because it is something of the highest quality.

 

Also some like to hate on it because it's going against the grain.

 

It can also have off days no doubt, so those moments of Scarefest rainy night rides can be completely opposite to cold March mornings.

After a recent re-visit to LWV, The Ultimate has crept its way back into my top 10 (sorry Smiler!)
